7:10 Larry reading out the letter....just pure comedy gold. He had the audience in the palm of his hand, he knew how to work them, and they were obviously having a fantastic time, if they were after a great night out, that's exactly what they got. A very sadly missed talent and an all over great human being too. No vulgarity just great laugh out comedy. RIP Larry, your place in the comedy Hall of fame is assured, and we do miss you very much, I hope that even from heaven you can still feel the warmth and love that we all have for you...Thankyou for the laughs LAZ...we haven't stopped laughing.

Amazing that this episode still exists as a black and white video copy.

Oh my goodness , fantastic footage. Me and Mum used to laugh our heads off at Larry, comic genius. How was that recorded in 1972?! I used to repair valve TV's , then transistorised TV then IC controlled TV's How things have moved on

This is magical!!!! Larry and Nolly. Very good friends. At Meg Richardson's(Noele Gordon's) wedding on Crossroads, Larry was the limo driver.

Larry Grayson would, of course, carry the “shut that door” schtick over to “The Generation Game.”

In 1977 in a pub in Birmingham I punched Noelle Gordon full in the face knocking her to the ground. She was unconscious for a couple of minutes. When she got back up she and I carried on drinking (Double Diamond if you must know) and no one called the police or the newspapers! That wouldn't happen these days, they'd all be videoing it and it would be up on Facebook before she hits the floor! They were better days then.

Rod Hull got away with assaulting people with that wretched Emu puppet which some didn't appreciate.

Have to say though I always cringe when Rod and Emu appear.. Did the same on this is your life..None the less Larry was such a star and always a good sport
