Pretty cool when 3rd parties do reimagined versions, rather than “their” version of the original figure like every other 3rd party does ad nauseam. And this one is a beefcake chunky boy; looks pretty good!

Great review! Such an amazing figure! Really loving the color scheme choices. I passed on this wonderful edition, to purchase another limited edition figure. I really want Hasbro to release a new Energon Rodimus, that would be cool, this thing looks awesome, but It will be hard to get and probably not cheap, His sulky face suits Rodimus, he is sick of everyone's crap

I actually think Energon has the best alt mode of any rodimus. maybe they'll see this and start remolding armada for a cool version too.

I feel like engineering wise they could use the Volvo Optimus mold, maybe not the actual mold itself since it would be the licensing fee but the way it works could lend itself to a good Energon Rodimus

Thought I was done with 2024 and then this at the end. Got one in my roller stash with Chosen Prime now. This looks great and will go great side-by-side with my Energon Rodimus. Fans Hobby is good at putting a dent in my TF budget.

I think Clench wears this particular version of the mold better. The spoiler and colour scheme on Rodimus just makes the alt mode look out of proportion and weird. I was guttted I missed getting Clench when it came out but yeah the FOMO didn't work on me in this case. Great review though and I do like that translucent orange as well as the head sculpt.

How does someone release an Energon Rodimus and REMOVE the combination feature?! The original figure was perfect to capture the powerlinx feature. All Fans Hobby had to do was just not remove things🤦‍♂️

They did it for both releases. It wouldnt match any of the primes anyways but you can take the head and hands off and put them on him if you want. Thanks for watching this

Honestly beside a new head sculpt and paintjob i don't think there is anything new about this guy. Between the 3 naval commanders and clutch, rodimus is the 5th of this mold. The mold is good, but not THAT good imo
