TRANSFER AT HELSINKI Airport - Finnair Connection Flight at Helsinki Vantaa Airport in Finland

In this video we have a Transfer at Helsinki Vantaa Airport in Finland. We show you our walk through Helsinki Airport (HEL) to our connection flight. We had just arrived at Helsinki Vantaa Airport on a Finnair Flight from Copenhagen. Our next flight was to Tallinn in Estonia also with Finnair. As all the countries we arrive and depart at from are EU countries (and Schengen Member countries) we did not have to pass through Immigration / Passport control at Helsinki Vantaa Airport. If you flight was to a country outside of the EU, to a Non-Schengen member country you would have to pass through Immigration / passport control and maybe also Security Control. This video shows you what our Transfer to a connection flight at Helsinki Airport (HEL) was for us. Your Transfer experience at this airport could of course be different from ours.
Wiki writes about Helsinki Airport, "Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (IATA: HEL, ICAO: EFHK; Finnish: Helsinki-Vantaan lentoasema, Swedish: Helsingfors-Vanda flygplats), or simply Helsinki Airport, is the main international airport of the city of Helsinki, its surrounding metropolitan area, and the Uusimaa region. The airport is located in the neighboring city of Vantaa, about 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Tikkurila, the administrative center of Vantaa and 9.2 NM (17.0 km; 10.6 mi) north of Helsinki city center. The airport is operated by state-owned Finavia."
What is a Flight Transfer?
Turkish Airlines defines a Flight Transfer as such, "Passengers who have a stopover of under 24 hours anywhere between the starting point and final destination of their journey and then board a connecting flight with the same or a different airline are referred to as transfer passengers."

Helsinki Airport has to be one of the best airports in Europe. I haven’t been in Helsinki Airport since early 2020, before the pandemic started. Great to see aviation recover.

We transferred through recently on our trip to Thailand. It was late and everything was shut but we both found the airport to be amazing That large screen, the birdsong in the toilets...amazing stuff. Loved the Finnair Business Lounge, modern and calming. Finnair A350 in both Premium Economy and Economy Comfort were both very good products.

@@travelkingdom8987 believe me that was just enough time for a layover. Security check and then pre boarding doesn’t take time at all. In fact I had some time left to kill so I roamed around the airport and enjoyed a nice cup of Finnish coffee!

@@subhamdebbarma more than enough. Everything goes so smoothly. You won’t have to go through immigration. Security and pre boarding won’t take much time at all. You can go for it, without giving it much thought. 👍🏼
