Great video, as always, MK! I'm about to upload my first ever audiobook to Findaway Voices today. Should I de-select Google Play and then submit there directly? TIA.

You can! It depends on what you value most: 1. easy to upload, easy to manage is just use Findaway Voices. 2. Get more on each sale and get more tax documents at the end of the year is going direct with Google Play and using Findaway Voices for the other retailers.

@@1MKWilliams Thank you! I love that you reply to questions. (Not all KZbinrs do.) I went with easy, but maybe later I'll do the title transfer you suggest. Another question: Although Findaway distributes to the "holy trinity" of ACX--Amazon, Audible, and iTunes--Findaway will take a cut before ACX takes their cut, is that correct? So it's better to use ACX for those 3 outlets?

Great video. Do you need your own ISBN number (you bought) for your audiobook allocated before uploading the mp3 file it to any audio platform such as ACX or Google Play? Do audiobooks need ISBN number?

1. yes, audiobooks needs ISBNs too. 2. Yes, you should have that assigned before you upload as it can take 24 to fully update in Bowker

Does GooglePlay have the same distribution as FindAVoice

No. Findaway Voices is an aggregator and distributes to many audiobook retailers, including Google Play. Google Play only distributes to Google Play Books. However, I pay less in fees on direct sales than those through an aggregator. Direct to retailer is better for the author.
