@@forgotten. sorry that was autocorrect. You can backup on iTunes via Windows or back up your device through macOS. Just make sure you have space on whichever you choose. There should be an option for apps, and in the different categories listed it should show how much space apps take up in your storage. During the setup process there is an option to transfer from pc. Select that and follow the steps which are usually just plugging it into your pc and letting it do the rest.

If they are sync'd with your iCloud Photos then yes. Apps don't transfer over only things storage from iCloud will be transferred over.

You can! Anything linked to that iCloud account specifically passwords, contacts, etc. iMessage...not so sure, but you can try. If not, that has to be restored through an iCloud back-up. Just make sure you backup your iPad to the cloud, quick start using your iPad & iPhone then restore from back-up when it asks you to.

I dont believe pics and apps get transferred unless they are saved & linked by iCloud. However you can always go into settings and disable icloud syncing and that stuff will be removed.

Sorry for the late reply. I don't believe the apps will transfer, especially with iCloud turned off. What you can do though is enable additional iCloud storage (Free Trial), back up your iPad Pro 9.7. Do the transfer and when transferring to your iPad Pro, choose the backup stored in iCloud. Cancel your free trial (You won't be charged). You can also do this method by locally backing-up to a Mac or iTunes

I think you didn’t even have to do it off screen you could’ve done it on screen just not show the keys. we could not see the password anyways that’s what I do with my videos, I just show the screen as I type in my password since those circles come up in place of the letters you can’t see the password anyways so from my videos I’m not really concerned about that. But obviously it’s up to you 😃
