Do you have a video where once you save it to the iPad, is the a way to grab multiple videos to add to iMovie for editing? I’ve been doing it but only one at a time. I can’t choose multiple at a time .. 😊

Thanks for posting. Why not use a Lighting to USB-C cable? That is how I transfer my iphone files to my computer. Any issues with using the T5 in LumaFusion? I would like to do the same and then export using XML to Davinci.

Are you talking about connecting the iPhone to IPad? If so, the IPad won’t recognize it. Please let me know if you found a way to get it to work. No issues with using the T5. I use 4K 30 a lot but my cameras are not super high bitrate. Apple restrictions the speed on the USBC so you don’t get full thunderbolt speeds. I didn’t see any difference with the faster drives. Hope this helps

Because the iPad batteries are used to power on the external drive.. maybe use a adapter or hub like the iPhone’s one, so you can charge and use the drive without draining.

This is a Great video but unfortunately this non technical Gramma still can't figure things out! I've tried following your video a few times but I think I need Step by Step Instructions so that I can print them out and maybe use both your video and the physical Steps? Although I'm not tech savvy, I have an iPhone 8 only bcuz my kids and Grandbabes use iPhones and apple devices and they said this way they can help me if I mess something up bcuz they don't know anything about android devices, which I find easier to use for myself. But all my kids are too far away now and whenever I need help, I have to wait til they can get to me. Anyway, my iPhone 8 is extremely Low on Storage now due to the 1000's of photos and videos and text msgs etc. I don't know how to download or upload and I don't play any games. I basically use my iPhone 8 for taking pictures and videos, for texting my kids, Grandbabes and friends and for some emailing. Ohhh, and to do google searching... I've tried to follow your video a few times and somehow I still go wrong and so I end up factory resetting my new iPad 10.2 256gb 9th generation. Hopefully I'm not depleting storage on my new iPad by doing so. I don't have or use iCloud, but I did try recently to load my photos onto it and it said that I don't have enough storage so I have it turned off again. I also don't have or use iTunes and I don't have a camera adapter nor do I have any other gadgets. The only item(s) I have is the original charging cable and plug that came with my iPhone 8. And I now have the cable (both ends look the same) and weird looking plug (much bigger than the iPhone plug) that came with the iPad 10.2 256gb 9th generation. If it's possible for this non tech savvy Gramma to get Step by Step Instructions on how to transfer all of my photos and videos and text msgs from my iPhone 8 onto my new iPad 256gb 9th generation without iCloud, without iTunes and without a camera adapter, I'd really appreciate it. This way I can get the instructions Printed out bcuz the video is just too fast for this Old Gals shrinking brain, plus when the video ends, somehow it automatically goes to the next video and then it gets too complicated for me to get back to this video. No, I can transfer video. It’s slow and it may look like it’s hung up but try to give some time.

This happens on my MacBook with some drives. Not sure. I don't think its connected but when I remove, I get the ejection warning so its connected someplace. Odd for sure. Did you try another drive?
