Another information packed video!!! Many thanks sir for the flash suggestions. Much appreciated 😊🙏🏼❤️👍🏼 I learnt a lot about the NX Studio to Affinity Photo workflow. Thanks for that!! I got Affinity v2 at a good discount recently having been a v1 suite customer for a while now. But still haven’t installed v2 yet 🤪. I will now pay attention to which installer I actually use!! Thanks for pointing that out!! I loathe quite a few photographer KZbin channels myself. Many have channel names based on film making or photography… but have f all videos on technique. Just more gear talk and more buy gear talk… Anyway… a big thank you for your immense knowledge contributions here sir!! Have a great week ahead!!!

Affinity Version 2 is a big improvement, especially with the addition of luminosity, hue, and frequency range masks.

@@davidellinsworth3299 Thanks David for pointing those improvements out!!. I tend to use Publisher the most and Designer the least 🤪. Need to clean up my digital mess and reinstall Windows 11 hence haven’t installed v2 yet!

Let me know how it goes and if you face any issues (I had to uninstall Affinity and re-install the 'exe' un=sanboxed file - otherwise I could not "register" it in Nikon NX Studio).

Did i get right: to match colors everythere i have to set sRGB instead Nikon sRGB in my NX Studio?

From the "Color Management" settings in NX Studio, *never* chose "Nikon Adobe" or "Nikon sRGB". Just chose "sRGB IEC61966-2.1". Do the same in Windows Color Management (in the Advanced tab and also in the System Defaults-Advanced Tab), in all other photo editing applications, and in your camera. Everywhere. That's to ensure maximum compatibility with the Internet (including iPhones etc), with most print labs, between computers, and also between photo editing applications in your computer. And as I said many times in the past, set your Monitor Brightness between 100-120 cd/m2. You can probably find on the internet or in your monitor manual which brightness setting in your monitor corresponds to that (in an old Asus monitor I had, it was 42/100 in another it was 38/100). Monitors come out of the factory with a very high brightness setting, not good for colors, not good for your eyes.
