Hi Kiran : Earlier HR used to accept such request even verbally but since almost every second girl gives this reason for home posting,HR are reluctant to consider your request untill you show them the marriage card.Else after marriage you can take transfer on request basis even within 1 year of joining

Hi: Yes in Banks transfer policies are strict compared to Central Govt.You can take help of you Union for the transfer since you have valid reasons but yes ZO doesnot consider very frequent transfers so they might delay

Hi Ankita : If you are already married before your joining then in 95% cases Banks give you your first posting in or near to the place where your husband resides, depends upon vacancy in that area. Jab aap document verification ke liye jayein tabhi ye baat HR ko bata ke unse request kar dein

I am not sure but I think aapka hi branch change hoga ya may be usi branch mein aapko different department allocate ho jayega.jo maternity leave pe gayi hain unka kuch change nahi hoga but I am not 100% sure coz I have never faced such cases

Not sure about mutual transfer but you may get transfer on marriage ground whereas the other lady may or may not get transfer based on pregnancy ,may be she gets temporary posting in nearby areas.
