Bro J, I agree we need to secure those trenches: offensive and defensive lines. We need to get our defensive line like Michigan. They handled Ohio State and gave us lots of trouble when we played them. We need two 300 lbs on that defensive line. I agree we got to be prepared for our wide receivers and others to enter the portal as well

Instead, Riley is doing what Clay Helton did but actually even worse through 3 seasons. The masses of players transferring out and de-committing are starting to speak loudly at the leadership at USC.

I also heard Colin Cowherd say that USC has a lot of NIL money saved up. I still think we need to invest in a top notch GM to run player personnel like some of the other big name programs are doing. But I guess we’ll have to work with what we have for now

Quarterback is not our position of need. Our focus should be on filling the interior positions on both sides of the ball. Jayden Maiava proved his capability by throwing for 356 yards against the number one pass defense in the country. I don’t believe the Washington State quarterback is better than Maiava. Our priorities must remain in perspective-especially as we prepare for the Big Ten, a conference built on running the ball and physical play. Maiava already has the tools to take us where we need to go.

LETS ALL BE objective. Last year all I reas about was the optimism and cheerleading. And then the same people are quick to throw the team under the bus the minute they struggled like firing Lincoln Riley. The 3 thing USC needs to focus in are depth at the DT spot and also at the offemsive line. The third is ANOTHER QB to compete with Maeva. The rest of this team will fall into place. At minimum they need 2 DT from the portal. So they can have a solid 6 man rotation.

Too many of these kids' parents brought them up with the attitude. "You're the best player on the team. If they don't play you, we're going to another team." They have no loyalty because they think something is owed to them. I understand if a stud wants to get the 💰. That's the reality of college football. But 99% are delusional thinking they're better than they really are. Maybe start offering kids who appreciate the scholarship instead of going for the attention-grabbing athletes. Just my take. ✌🏽

If I'm a WR, there's no way I'd enjoy playing for Riley. Subbed out every other play, can never get a rhythm in game. It's never made sense to me. But I like all the guys in our WR room. Hopefully they stick it out. But the way Riley subs, they have to realize it'd hurt their draft stock.

If I were a widereceiver I would absolutely love playing for Riley. He is in love with the pass and me rotating keeps me fresh to burn DBs. Ex. Makai Lemon has 48 reception and just as many yards(665yrds) as Oregons best receiver Tez Johnson with 67 touches and 687 yrds

@curtisjermaine962 I hear you but I can't use Oregon WRs as the bench mark and it definitely wouldn't keep us as WRU. Drake London, Pittman, St. Brown etc....would not put up the numbers they did..to get drafted as high as they did (sans St. Brown), with this usage. As a WR, my best bet is mid 6th round, high 7th round like a Brenden Rice. And if I'm a 5 star recruit I dont aspire to be that. Luckily Addison had already cemented himself before coming to SC, but I haven't seen this method work for anyone else.
