The Trojan War happened a long time ago, but today's USC Trojans are involved in a war over the transfer portal. In this episode of Locked On USC, I explain the battles the coaching staff is involved with and the significance of winning these transfer battles against other blueblood programs.

Two interior types would hit the spot, along with a center. riley seems to have Centered all hopes on the expedited preparation of Monheim. Like good wine center has to be aged. Near impossible to master the center position in just months; I don't care what riley and his media crew regurgitates. No position faces more bullets than center, for it's the shortest distance to the King (like chess). We need a battle tested Center, just as we need one mind to guide special teams. Monheim might as well be wearing a yellow jersey Saturday; so, the kid won't experience bullets in anger until LSU. AND EXPERIENCE BULLETS HE WILL! oh, he will be tested! Mike Tyson will probably be at the game; I hope he doesn't say, I TOLD YOU!!! For those of you not in the know, Tyson is famous for saying, "EVERY MAN GOT A PLAN, UNTIL HE GETS HIT ON THE MOUTH"

My pick would be Andrew Chamblee, he’s arguably the best available tackle in the portal rn. He’s a sophomore who’s coming off an All Sec Freshman season where he started 8 games at tackle. He’s currently being recruited by UCLA and Colorado . SC needs to get involved quick imo

There's a going rate for players at certain positions and Williams's position "demands" six figures+. My Holiday Bowl memory is a little foggy but he had a few plays that he made when the action came his direction, but nothing that made me go WOW!!
