Transferring into SUV after C6 incomplete spinal cord injury

We recently took a trip out to California. Our plan was to use our wheelchair van, but that plan was foiled by a gas leak! There was no way we were giving up our vacation, so we decided to use our 2012 Ford Escape and utilized a slide board for transferring in and out.
Not shown in the video is that I had Chris raise up so that I could slide his ROHO cushion underneath him to prevent pressure wounds during our 6+ hour drive from Arizona.
Chris sustained a spinal cord injury (SCI) in 2020. He is catagorized as a C6 incomplete paraplegic. He has very limited control of his legs when seated, and cannot (currently) stand to transfer.
