This series of videos has been very valuable to me since I am just beginning to shop for a heat press and had NO idea what to look for. Thank you so much for such a detailed review of a large number of heat presses in an affordable price range.

Thanks for the comparisons! I learned something new about the wash test and how the pressure results can be identified. I own three heat presses, and the three things I look at are 1) heat-up time (my HPN Craftpro press takes up to 20 minutes), 2) Setting alert, lets you know when set heat is reached, and 3) Cut-off feature! I cannot tell you how many times I forgot to turn off my HPN printer and the craft room feels like a sauna. The press I use every day is the HTVront. I added a circuit 15x15 press pillow under the one that comes with it for pressure. Love its ease of use and the auto-open feature. I came here as I am looking to get a larger printer to replace the HPN 15x15 but your point about the size you need and use most has me rethinking. Thanks again

I make sandstone coasters a lot with my HTVRont press. It was rough going until I realized that the included mat dips I the middle. I replaced it with an Artesprix foam mat, plus a nomex mat sometimes. Really increased the pressure and eliminated the unevenness. I can now print edge to edge full color coasters no problem
@transfersuperstars Жыл бұрын
We really liked the feature of the HTVRONT as well but we weren't able to increase the pressure enough for DTF to LAST. We even tried replacing the included mat and swapping it out with 2 layers of 1/2" silicone base and still did not have enough pressure. We were able to print edge to edge but the transfer prematurely wrinkles in the wash.

Great videos, very informative - thanks. One issue with the final review I believe. The first unit reviewed in Part 1, the Slendor 5 in 1, was not the unit on the table when it was up for the final revie in the summary in part 2. In part 2 the unit on the table was the VivoHome 8 in 1 while you were discussing the Slendor 5 in 1.

Really cool, thanks a lot. Now I'm seriously considering to go for a more expensive one, but the gap it's really high... The training with Cricut needed some Rocky music, ha ha. I think those are ideal for vinyl and small/medium sublimation blanks, tote bags, but for DTF... Ufffh. Much appreciated, great video, like Part 1, I've learned a lot.
@transfersuperstars Жыл бұрын
exactly that! It has its uses but for DTF, a standard heat press works better.

Correct. I have the Slendor press and was very much looking forward to your review. Although the review on the shirt was correct, you were talking about the Slendor press but had the Vivohome press on the table so the review about the press itself was incorrect.

There hasn't been a lot of "great" pull out budget heat presses but if we were to recommend one, it would be the fancierstudio amzn.to/3V2m8N9. Its hard for companies to develop a pull out press while keeping the budget low. You usually will notice the parts being subpar and not feeling smooth when you pull.

Since the Cricut EasyPress does not have enough pressure, will re-pressing with more pressure prior to washing the shirt help at all? I just tried DTF for the first time with two shirts using my Cricut EasyPress prior to watching this video. Wanting to see if there is any hope in saving the pieces from being ruined when they are washed.
@transfersuperstars9 ай бұрын
Pressing the shirts before washing the shirts with a heat press that can provide sufficient temperature and pressure will absolutely save the shirt. We’ve been able to get bits of a design to work with a household iron, but nobody has time for that. Just get a decent heat press for $200.
