@@College-Builder Dont mind me, I'm responding to build algo to promote your channel. We lost some good detailers on the blowback from the un-stellar release. Plus I can't figure out Discord so... Talking CS2 is a treat for me. I don't know if MoveIt was updated or not, because it's completely possible I just hadn't noticed before. But I'd swear the filters and the tools were not there until recently. The modders are SO under appreciated, aren't they? It's a shame, they're making a fun game into an AMAZING game, worthy of irresponsible dedication and obsession. ✌🏻

So crazy good, I could just go on and on about how great it is. I especially loved this downtown area. I can imagine the restaurant there would be a destination spot. Also, I loved how you have the neighborhood with beach cottages. Also love you how recolored the buildings to be in the cream with the tile roofs. That is very much like Santa Barbara, and places in CA like that. So glad I found your channel.

Its interesting how in 1925 after the earthquake, there was this movement through architecture to recreate a romantic historicism of old California: the ranchos and Mission vernacular. The book Ramona was popular, and there was this re-imagined nostalgia. That idea is lost to most people today, but when I was a child( quite some time ago) "Old California" still existed in tucked away pockets near where I grew up in Monterey, and San Juan Bautista: the pepper trees, the cactus fences, the old houses of adobe and whitewashed board and batten. It was all rather genteel in a dusty, sleepy way.

Loved the comercial district, but i feel like there were also more assets that could have been used to flesh out the campus. Maybe add some more modern looking buildings to complement the old style to show the univerity has kept up to date with modern times. Great video cant wait for part 5 :)

CS2 is great, the devs actually listen to the content creators and there are so many improvements to the quality-of-life aspects of the game, I can't go back and play CS1 now. I have a computer that was a chunk of investment, but still waited a good 8 months to play because of the wonks. It's SO much better now. I encourage you to give it a try!

10:59 is there a mod/surface for the rocks under water?

At that point in the series I was using the original Volchoria theme. In the later videos I changed to Volchoria Map Theme Renewed, and then subsequently I changed the dirt and cliff textures so it doesn't quite look like that any more. But I do like that original rock texture. 😊

How do you use recolor? How do you copy and paste? What are the commands?

Thankfully it is fairly easy. Just click on a building and you will see the recolor options come up in the building info. There is a copy button next to each of the three colors and there is a copy button that lets you copy all three at once if you prefer. Then click on another building and you will now see the paste option appear. You can paste one individual color or all three. If you prefer to create your own color, just click on one of the colors and you get sliders for hue, saturation, and brightness. I would suggest just playing around with it and see how it goes. 🤓
