Hello , great video and work . I have Z3 to, and bought hardtop. You can check on my channel . Have to repaint to .. also I need to buy mounting kit.. One question , how did you remove roof plastic on edges ? 2:10 min

Hey! That's awesome! I first had my body shop paint the roof with the plastics untouched, but then they started to lift (probably because they were lacking some glue or something) so I had them fill the gaps with fiberglass and that is why the roof looks like that in 4:39

@@ccslegends tnx for your answer :) , great job with fiberglass kit. I will try to remove plastic with no damaging , but im afraid that it wont go so easy . how much did you pay for mounting kit ? I was watching they are 500-750 eu... I found this insane expencive... Subscribed :)

Thanks for subscribing! If you are careful it shouldn't be much of a hassel to take the plastics off. I paid 1800 for the hardtop with the mounting kit becuase I bought it used in Spain, but I did see them separately on Ebay for $500-$750 and I also thought it was way too much

@@ccslegends ok tnx. I paid for mine 640 eu with shipping with no mounting kit . I need to replace headliner because it started to unglue on the edge . Did you make instalation for glas heater to ?

No, I didn't connect the glass heater because I live in Venezuela and we don't use that here
