Mr. Dimov's prowess is that he knows what his body is doing at all times, which means he has constant balance which enables his masterful control of the instrument. Needs to be on the performance circuit. He could definitely sell tickets.

My all-time favorite piece, played on a instrument that we love so much in the deep south of México, where the modern marimba was created, proudly from Chiapas México.
@Menta1Ninja11 жыл бұрын
Very nice interpretation, but i would of loved to hear it with softer mallets. Otherwise the execution was perfect and the time and effort you must have put into it really shows. And the video was also very well done, so kudos to you sir.

This couldn't be any more perfect. This piece is fantastic and is executed with such ease to top that. Kudos for all the hard work that must've gone into this!

Your playing is sublime. Very very enjoyable. Excellent interpretation as well. I just wish the sound was a bit better so we could hear more of the fundamentals without so much of the striking sound. Regardless, thank you so much for a wonderful performance!

Greetings from Lithuania, great work. A question, is it possible to play it on 4 octave marimba?
@spulbex510510 жыл бұрын
This on is only a 4.5 so I'm sure it is.
@gdcyctic8616 жыл бұрын
It is possible, but you’d have to move every thing up an octave. So the C an octave above middle C is now middle C

@suddenpenguin9 жыл бұрын
+Nathan Stradling (Boo60) It's really not, unless you switch the mallets. He's playing it with the outside mallet underneath. I much prefer burton (with the inside mallet underneath) because you're right, it is WAY easier to hold than Stevens.
@Mr.Boo609 жыл бұрын
I've been familiar with Burton and Stevens, tbh neither me or my friend knew about the traditional grip. I've learned it now.

I don't like it, personally. It's kinda unreliable and difficult to use.
