Late, but speakers of British English always say “maths”, as in “I took a degree in maths”. They would never say “math”. There are logical arguments for both spellings. The word “mathematics” can be considered as a singular and as a plural noun

y = 3 is a horizontal line. I would start by making a solid horizontal line that goes through 3 on the y-axis. This horizontal line should be parallel to the x-axis. Next, take each point of your original form and draw the opposite of that point in relation to the line you just drew. For example, if a point is 2 units above the line, make it two units below. If a point was 5 units below y=3, make it 5 units above. After doing this for all of your points, connect the new dots!
