On my old Toyota, I remove three screws on the headlight retainer trim, and then the halogen light comes right out the front. I guess I should’ve mentioned my truck is a 1985. 😂

Hell my old truck all i had to do was open the hood cause the grill lifted with it. Then had complete access to the 3 bolts holding the headlights in

I understand you're doing this to show Tacoma lovers how to spend a ton on a build you'll love and drive forever. Trust me when I say I did the same on a new 2015 with Kings, wheels/tires, you name it, small mods, skid plates, the works for about 12 grand on a new nicely equipped sport model. You will never get back a quarter of that money when you sell it even if you part it out.

I agree that this is all too much to do at once, unless you have the money for it. But our goal for these videos is more to showcase the new mods that are available for the 4th gen. We’re fortunate enough to have sponsors for these, but we’re not gonna sit here and tell you that you need to do all of these at once, it’s just easier for us to showcase them in one video instead of doing multiple single mod videos.

Good heavens... Replacing the headlights is such a pain in the ass on the new Tacoma... I bought my first truck as a 22-year-old last year (upgraded from a Camry...) and removing the headlights on my F-150 is literally removing three 10mm bolts securing each headlight, and then just carefully wiggling it out of its place.

Why change the Headlights? The stock LEDs perform much better than any aftermarket Ive seen at least on the 3rd gens I would imagine its the same thing for anything else

@ I definitely saw that video when it first came it out! I agree pretty much any LED light was better than the halogens. I have seen others make videos that show OEM vs. aftermarket LEDs and while yes OEMs are not as bright as aftermarket, OEMs performed much better. They had a defined zone that lit up the road in front of you while all the aftermarkets just threw the light in every which direction. Cool for looks sure but, they aren’t nearly as effective. But hey maybe they’ve updated the lights and they’re more on par with OEMs, in which case that would be a great functional and aesthetic upgrade. Maybe you could make a video on this!! I would love to watch it and see the differences!

I could see a lift or some tires because it atleast gives you an advantage in some situations that you otherwise wouldn’t have with the stock setup. TRD Pro is not personalized to what I want. It doesn’t come with Kings, and the wheels on the TRD Pro are the same as every other TRD Pro owner. By purchasing the TRD Off-Road, I get everything I need and can customize it exactly to my liking.
