You have asked and GlobeCore has developed another TOR series device for automated measuring the up to 100 kV breakdown voltage of transformer oil or other liquid dielectrics.
TOR-100 functions with industrial oils. The recommended minimum sample volume is 1 liter. Half a liter of oil is needed to fill the measuring cell, and the same amount is needed to wash this cell.
The device operator can choose the measurement standard and the kind of oil. Testing is automatic. The test voltage is disconnected instantaneously in 4 microseconds after a breakdown occurs.
After the last test cycle breakdown the display shows the required summary: local database, reports, graphs. They can either be sent for printing directly from the device, or downloaded to a flash drive.
The convenient innovations were implemented in the TOR-100 by GlobeCore designers. It is equipped with a touch panel and can generate reports in PDF format. The device is pre-programmed not for five but for 15 measurement standards. The easy updating of standards list is stipulated through regular updates. There is also the possibility of setting your own measurement parameters for use in scientific research purposes.
Customers can order the TOR-100 device with the option of battery operation. Protection against damage by high voltage is implemented in the design of the device. The device is connected to grounding and has a built-in sensor protection on the lid - when lid is opened, the voltage is turned off. There is an electronic protection in the breakdown detector circuits.
Six TOR-100 interface languages are available: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese.
