This is why I say the Bayverse transfomers movies are my guilty pleasure. I know the story is poorly written, and people say they suck, but who the fuck cares? It's giant fucking robots battling the fuck out of each other nothing can get cooler than that. Plus the CGI for each of the bots are so good, and the more you learn on how they did that, you'd appreciate the designs and the times the robots are present even more.

As a car enthusiast and 7yr old kid at the time this just was fuckin cool man, I don’t know who wake up one day and said “you know what would be cool? Cars and planes which transform into a humanoid giant robots and they will fight” but seeing this as a live action was really nutsl, the sfx were astonishing back then and still holds up surprisingly well.

I remember telling my mom to buy me the dvd, came with a nice sleeve, and the ps2 when it first released, but anyway I remember I’d play in slow motion all the transforming scenes especially barricade vs bumblebee. The ps3 right analog let you just go frame by frame. And with the ps2 game, id literally play ‘what I’ve done’ and transform at certain moments, id even pause the game as quickly as i could just to see if i could see where the parts would go
