That makes sense, but prime has been though more in other transformers series' and he would rather just flipping Die for no reason than go on a slaughtering spree. Also, he always wants to end the war but he always tries to find a more peaceful resolution than just I CAME, I SAW, I SLAUGHTERED.

The only Multiverse-ish thing about the Bayfilms is Sideways, knowing he’s a universe hopper stuck in an infinite loop where everytime he dies he moves to a different universe/reality. Anyways back to my point, in real world stuff, Bay would rather want people to see Robot kill Robot that Robot make peace treaty with Robot, Hence why Optimus brutally murdered Megatron rather than accepting his peace treaty in dark of the moon.

I looked up what Optimus Prime means. Optimus is latin for "one of the best, aristocrat, noble". Prime used as an adjective means "first in degree or rank; chief." So together it means Noble Chief. Pretty clever since the name Optimus Prime is awesome and the fact that Optimus is noble and it's like the chief of the autobots goes pretty well for him. :)

Best of all throughout this scene I’ll never forget how everyone bawled in laughter when hearing Sam scream like a maniac when bumblebee transformed midair and then went back to vehicle mode with Sam going all over the place before he was in the driver seat.
