I think Arrival to Earth is one of the best musical pieces ever written, and your arrangement gives me chills, just like the original!

It really is one of the very finest pieces ever written by man, right up there with the Mozarts and Chopins. With the location sound and effects, it is very hard to hear this piece in the film. It is only when you listen to it in isolation on its own that you realise the magnificence of it. I think when Steve Jablonsky composed it, he truly must have been divinely inspired. Such is the magnitude of the hope and the exhilaration that it gives us, I'm sure that he was thinking of something far greater than just sentient robots arriving to Earth, to aid us suffering mortals. More like the Divine has really turned his attention to us, and is sending us this great tangible hope, magnanimous and mighty.

Both are very different and very good. I just find Patrik's more playable. Thats just one song, it's the other way around for others. But no hate here, it's just my take on it :)

It's very hard to hear this with all of the sound effects and location sound in the film itself. When you hear it on its own, it's like a completely different piece almost. You can barely hear anything in the film. On its own,......., I can only say,...., it leaves you gasping and with an ache in your heart at its beauty, like Jablonsky actually pulled something back from the other side of such incredible beauty.
