It always blows my mind how your arrangements always manage to capture the factor that makes the originals of these covers stick within a person's mind. That is the real genius about your covers in my opinion. There are many skilled pianists who could play these arrangements just as well. And very few who can make them.

I am a huge fan of music, like many many others. I, unfortunately, am one of the unlucky humans that have no musical talent. I admire all those who can pick up an instrument and play music, or who can put that music to paper so that others can play it. My favorite instruments are piano, violin, and the brass instruments. I think that is why I love this video, but all of the music from Thomas Bergersen, and 2 Steps from Hell. Thank you to all of the talented people out there. Please keep making music. This world desperately needs it.
@petervandenbempt32902 жыл бұрын
Everyone can make music! I know it sounds cliché but it's true. I think it's very similar to learning a language. For example, you can learn some loose words/sentences but if you don't learn the syntax & grammar you won't get far. I think that is why most people give up after a while, they try to "speak fluently" too soon and decide it's not for them. Just like with languages, you can get a huge headstart by starting young (which is why you see so many child progidies), but it's never too late too start. You need to set realistic goals, be consistent and patient and preferably get a teacher. And when it finally starts to click that'll be one of the best feelings in the world. Dare to try it!?
@saimahmed74542 жыл бұрын
Fam, “talent” is bs for something like playing piano, literally anyone can do it. It’s not the talent that you lack, but the will and patience to work really hard for something. But that is something that you can acquire, unlike “talent”.

@BOSSE1984 ай бұрын
Since the first time I heard this song, I immediately searched up the piano version and I found this. I have been trying to learn this since I was 9 years old, but I didn’t had the skills. I’m not old, but now, 5 years later I came back to this after 5 years of playing piano, and I thought I would be ready. I feel like I’m ready and have the skills to play this, I started for some weeks ago and now I’ve finally crossed the section I didn’t succeed with and I’m now on 1:12. I’m 14 now, I know I’m young and have everything to learn and experience, but I have learned that nothing is impossible as long as you keep trying and pushing, and you will victory. Sometimes I just wanted to give up with this song, but I took a long break and practiced other piano pieces and build up my skills, and when I saw this video on KZbin I once saw for years ago, I wanted to end what I’ve began. This was the song I kept struggle with since I started playing piano and this is one of my goals to play. This song is one of the reasons I keep struggle with every piano piece I want to learn that it isn’t going well with. To every one that struggles with a piano piece: Good luck! I know you will success! Thank you Patrick Pietschmann :)

Trust me, it's possible to play this song, you just have to devote all your spare piano time to it. I can proudly say this has positively influenced my life, and my piano skills have rapidly gotten better after I started this song. Thanks Patrik for transcribing this into piano, I would be somewhere else if it weren't for this. Victory is almost in reach.

25.6.2022 This comment will be quite long but honest. I started playing piano last year in June. I finally found a piece i really wanted to play. Interstellar, Pietschmann’s arrangement. I worked really hard and now after a year i finally feel i can play it well and i even played it at a small concert. (Actually whilst learning interstellar i was also learning Bach’s prelude in c major (easy) and ludovico einaudis fly (medium). I played all that at the concert. But now it was the time to choose another piece. I love Pietschmann’s arrangements and film music, so I was basically binge watching everything on this channel. I liked Rush, lux Aeterna, Oogway ascends and Tenet. But I admit when i heard the strength Victory has and saw the difficulty and complexity of this marvelous arrangement, I decided to buy Pietschmann’s notes three days ago. I can now play the first page, but I am pumped for the more difficult parts. I just feel so many emotions when playing this piece. And well why did I even write this? I believe that the reason I really got into piano was through finding the right piece of music i felt emotional about and Patrick Pietschmann’s arrangements gave me the opportunity, since there was a wide variety to choose from and i like his musical taste❤️. Therefore I’d like to thank him for his determination and most importantly for his precise and for me excellent work. I appreciate it. You literally changed my life by helping me to start with the piano. Please keep it up! I will need some more complex pieces next year once I manage to finish this one😁. Thank you for reading this. Take care!

Amazing being able to play this but more amazing that someone can even think to write music like this. Musicians are so very talented to be able to do this skill.

Personal connection to this arrangement. Over quarantine the most therepuetic part of my day was sleeping, and I would sleep to this arrangement and others most nights over that summer. Now it brings back the feeling of the virtual world we used to live in and the controlling feel the world was in at that time

Ya this comes from their Battlecry album, which I think is probably at least top 3 for me. I really enjoy their newer Dragon album, and the Invincible one is their oldest and most recognized public album. Really, almost anyone can enjoy at least 1 song on any TSFH or Thomas Bergersen album
