That’s why I still don’t know if I’m going to get this set. They’re more cartoon accurate, but that battle damage. On Prowl I don’t mind it as much.

Got the set and love them. Saw the movie as a kid, Prowl was my favorite character. I wasn’t distraught over any of the deaths in the movie, I actually thought it made the series better, but I was surprised at the amount of animation that went into the burning of Prowl as he was killed. I was like “Damn! What did they shoot him with?” Realized later it was a Constructicon and thought some kind of combustable chemical. I would buy a Brawn Ratchet two pack if they did one.

I like it, but if I want to have Ironhide and Prowl non battle damaged, I can’t. I wish there was a way to make the chest swappable so you have fixed Autobots or change it to have battle damaged Autobots. When I start my G1 collection I probably won’t pick it up and look for the regular fixed versions.

The depiction of the death of the Autobots in the Movie was very traumatic to children at the time, even if it was decades ago. I was "fortunate" enough not to have seen the movie at the time, I only saw it years later when I got it on DVD, when I did watch it, it had an impact on me to see this slaughter going on, ouch! (not sure what Hasbro was thinking at the time when they made the movie with this massacre, but hey, those were the times), this set is probably not one most fans would pick up very much, but I'm not sure really. Thank for the review, Paul!

I always want to see trailbreaker run from the back of the ship and get blasted from one of the jets! That would have made the scene even more traumatic! Talk about an ambush! What a slaughter! Loved this scene.

I hate the clear plastic it breaks doesn’t hid the robot junk & I get Toyhax to cover the windows! I wish hasbro would just do color windows no more clear! Also wish they didn’t do battle damage as these are so much better then the OG release!
