It's downright unfinished, Hasbro insisted on having it air in the USA before Japan even if it meant airing unfinished episodes. Superlink is the actually finished version.

The Hasbro dub is literally just unfinished key animation. 100% the result of rushing the dub to America first.

Which wasn’t Hasbro’s decision, it was Cartoon Network’s. CN forced Hasbro to rush the dub for their schedule box with the entire Unicron Trilogy.
