Scary thing is, not only did I see them when they were in circulation. I actually OWNED them. They were as cheap as you expected them to be, so no, I don't have them anymore. Makes you wonder who even manufactured this mold to begin with.

These are pretty common at zoo gift shops. I saw the same set at the John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids this summer. Points for creativity in a few spots, but yeah, pretty simple.

Credit where it's due, it actually says "transforms" and not "converts". THEY'RE NOT CALLED CONVERTERS HASBRO. And it even has actual screws rather than pins! Imagine that. At least now you can recreate David Kaye's famous Robot Chicken sketch.

I will say when I saw your thumbnail for the video I knew that the panda transformer that you got is the one I had the pleasure of recently tinkering around with. I found that exact one at a yard sale that I went to in the summer I gave the panda transformer to someone I know. I will just say these are basically Beast Wars Transformers with Generation 1style engineering. Enjoy the video.

Good old dollar store transformers. Always seems like they could do a lot better if they wanted to. KO deluxe transformers from china are a lot better and must cost just a bit more to produce.
