I really like this guy. Another one of those few 84 characters I like, and I love the look of this toy. I used to have a junker Wheeljack (it had the windshield, but it was somewhat warped, like it had been slightly melted), but I really am planning to get one of these KO Jackies someday.

I can't stop imagining what transformers these days would've looked like if they directly translated the toys to animation. Like, no prototype images, no fax machine, they just gave the artists copies of the toys as reference.

Looks AWESOME! But I’ve seen another video reviews of knock offs G1 Wheeljack and some of them features creepy toys... one of the most common issues is: the figure doesn’t stand! Aracri L. Not standing is a very common complaint with this figure, KO or authentic G1. The problem is people don't pull the legs apart. Pulling the legs apart lock them in place and allow the figure to stand. Thanks for watching!

Ko or not that's cool and a much cheaper option for a boxed g1 example for your collection behind a loose complete one from 84. Just got the earthrise wheeljack today. I think they should of made a siege version of wheeljack maybe a double pack with bumblebee that transformed into the cybertronian vehicle mode since they were the first characters seen in the original cartoon.

ever notice on the screw they use !!! the original ones uses flat ones the ko one uses rounded ... that goes for defensor ... the leader .... look at the screws ... on the top.... you have to look for stickers... screws and mistakes on boxes mostly ...

I will never forgive myself for bringing all of my originals over to a friend’s house (Optimus, Sunstreaker, Prowl, Hound, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Grimlock, Thrust, and yes, Megatron!) and leaving them there for too long.. and when I called some time later.. all were gone!! Or, at least that’s what he told me!! Never forgive myself for that one! Alas, I never had Wheeljack back then either, so now O’m kinda obsessed with him 🤓

I bought a loose one without the accessories on eBay and have been able to compare the body with my original ones. I have to say that I like it overall, and am contemplating buying more for accessories if they're as good as that. - The first difference I noticed was in the canopy - it is very loose and dangles if Wheeljack is not in car mode and in horizontal position; then the windows are not really clear like the originals, as the surface is a bit grainy. - The screws as someone else noticed have a rounded head instead of the flat one on the originals. - The holes on the translucent wings from original Wheeljacks are too large for this one. - When attempting to transform mine, I couldn't for the life of me pull its legs, even with more strength than the Hasbro-Takara ones. I didn't want to break it so early, so maybe I'll unscrew those parts and look inside. Your original Wheeljack, apart from the missing canopy looks in pretty great condition otherwise. As it is an early mold (without the Hasbro copyright), its parts are most often similar to those of the Diaclone Wheeljack. So if you find a canopy for it, the best version probably will be the one without a number on the inside. Aside from that, do the spoilers and wings of the KO fit on the original one, without effort and breaking?

With Wheeljack, an official reissue is pretty much impossible because the original mold is either lost or stolen. Several G1 molds are also in the same boat, such as Mirage, Sunstreaker, all five Dinobots, a few unreleased G2 molds, and three Beast Wars basics molds (including the original Rattrap mold). On another note, the images on TFWiki.net do not do these toys justice scale-wise; Wheeljack and Mirage are smaller than I thought.

BNSF1995 I have these quality KOs for Wheeljack, Mirage, Sunstreaker, Hound, Swoop and Reflector for just that reason. I know there will never be an official re-issue so this does just nicely. Thanks for watching!

Online, I think I got this one on Ebay as well. These are KOs or "unofficial reissues" so they will be coming from China. Do you research on the seller and make sure they have a good history of delivering before making a purchase. Thanks for watching!

Brian Retz I do have Menasor and most G1 combiners, all originals though, no KOs. My Menasor is complete but I don't have all the individual robot weapons.

I've always considered picking up those G1 reissues even though they were chaos I've never had any G1 Transformers as a kid besides Shockwave from RadioShack and maybe a Bumblebee and Cliffjumper but besides that none whatsoever obviously older and collecting Transformers I have considered it but now watching this video I think I'm finally going to pull the trigger and pick up a few especially considering Walmart having that G1 Optimus Prime reissue for 50 bucks when I can get an unofficial on with trailer for the same price

Surprisingly no. The only way to get a G1 Megatron is to get a Takara reissue or a vintage one, Hasbro will never reissue him.

I own both the original and the KO. This KO is spot on with the original...one of the few KO's that really is on par. That said, no idea what you are talking about.
