Sweet! I always wanted this figure when I was growing up, but alas I never did get him. I'll get a vintage one eventually along with a replacement Mindwipe and Skull cruncher. There's something about these old designs that modern figures are just lacking. Well...more than just more toy for your buck that is. 😅

Straight up G1 KO!? Makes me wonder how & why the KO companies can get their hands on these things, reverse engineer them, and make new molds to "reissue" them, whereas Hasbruh & Takara inexplicably CAN'T. (Hasbruh went balls to the walls bizarre by reusing the Titans Return molds with the Takara version Headmasters) Though this was exactly how Takara did the Encore Constructicons & Encore God Fire Convoy, soooooo...?? 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ Back to the figure: I had the G1 Weirdwolf as a kid...and didn't even WANT IT, I wanted Mindwipe - or as 11 year old me constantly jokingly called him, Giant Ratbat...and ultimately traded to get Mindwipe from a buddy who had him and wanted Weirdwolf instead. And yeah, uh...the stat bar (STR-SPD-INT) sticker and stuff on the original were factory pre-applied. And I don't think anybody knew about the missile launchers on the shoulders back then - pretty sure it wasn't mentioned in the instructions!! 🤣🤣🤣

China uses G1 molds left behind when they were released there in the 90s. Then, uses molds from the Walmart reissues like this one.
