Nice. I was thinking the same about the abdomen. Unicron’s transformation and the crystal abs was so memorable back in 86. They should have gone with translucent plastic.

Right. They went out of their way to make the arms transform correctly and they gave us the busted out eyes. But it's not a masterpiece I guess

Great review TMan978! What an awesome figure! Details on Unicron are phenomenal! I wish his teeth were silver but a silver marker can fix that. I agree his abdominal area could have been translucent. I think the only thing Grumpy Bear will be upset about is where to best place him. ✌🏼

Wow!! That thing is massive!! I got no room for him so I'll have to pass. Still, I wish they could've given him some lights and sounds in his head instead of that stupid moving eyes gimmick. If they were to reuse this robot, it would be for the Beast Wars Neo Unicorn, who did have a backpack.

I like him, I like him a lot but I think that I would stick to the Armada, Energon and its redeco/retool versions of Unicron because he is more on the affordable side and is also a really great figure

Mannn!!! He looks absolutely fantastic!! Yeah! Big figures are hard to pose!! I agree! That's the price we pay!! But yeah I agree!! He looks amazing!! Unfortunately I wasn't able to pick one up!! It may be petty, but one of the biggest disappointments is that the box is so damn boring. After the Sail Barge box, I was sort of hoping for maybe a G1 throwback, or something. I guess the bonus is it makes it easier to throw away the box. Overall, I think it is a really cool release. It sure has a nice presence. It is a bit too CHUG for my collection, but I do like it. Aesthetically, the backpack bothers me the most, but I can always overlook a backpack. It looks you really don't have to worry about breakage as long as you are careful. I know I have not been super happy with some of the plastic on some Takara MP releases lately, so it is nice seeing Hasbro putting out a quality figure. Thank-you for the review TMan. I always enjoy hearing your opinion on figures.

I know. It's why I passed on it. Same reason I skipped the CHUG Omega, Scorpinock and Jetfire. I don't really collect CHUG due to space constraints. The Unicron was no different. I do think it looks great for what it is going for.

The sound effects. I had the chance to buy the 1st release of this figure. Not this one but one that came somewhere in the late 90's early 2000 era for 20 bucks at a dollar tree. But thanks to my ex wife. I get to kick myself for believing she was going to get it for me. Note to you collectors. Never believe your wife will get your wants in this lane. Especially if she's greedy or rather I say a selfish puerto rican.

Tman, this guy is nice..But to big. I ain't got the room. But nice. Anyway.....My Omega supreme siege figure I was wondering if you knew a guy who could make fill in parts for the lower legs to bulk them up to look like the Fans toys version (cartoon) accurate. I'll explain.....It'll come in 4 parts. Molded in the same color with the cyber deco made into it. One piece on the inner lower left. Lower inner right. Outer left. Outer right. Total 4 pieces. I disassembled the head to paint the face. It looks cartoon accurate. The eyes as well. They sit lower into the socket cavity. A little hard to see. But still painted blue to match the animation style G1 cartoon. After this then Fans toys Gabriel will have a run for his money, and less expensive. Let me know T.

With the sheer weight of this figure in the amount of plastic and moving Parts being used not to mention the size of the box and the weight of the box, there's no way in the world this thing would be less than $450. This figure almost weighs as much as a two year old child. The box is so big I couldn't even fit it through my basement doorway. Shipping on this figure alone depending on where you live is $200.
