The IDW designs are kind of more modernized interpretations of G1 so they are inherently going to look better in a majority of cases(Siege Springer vs T30 Springer). But..not everyone was into the comics so they aren't the standard.

I remember the rumor listing for the Velocitron subline had Blurr in it. My theory was him being the Armada Blurr from the Unicron Trilogy. But wow, I'm blown away by this sudden reveal. From the IDW head to toe, to cybertronian speedy car and back, Legacy Blurr looks amazing! Would rank him first place, Shattered Glass Blurr second, and the Studio Series 86 Blurr would be third. -With us knowing now that Hasbro will be stepping into the IDW comics for Legacy toys, I hope more characters from IDW will make appearance.

Wow, 10/10 Vrooms! Unbelievable coming from you, Chef! The weapons are a total letdown to be frank; but we could instead opt for the combined super-sniper gun from the Generations/TF United mould (using 5-mm pegs too) to get a better homage of the comic character. The vehicle mode really rocks (does make one wonder if some more car Fembots will be using this retooling later on). (The TR Blurr did end up being retooled as Headmaster Arcee.) Interesting. I wish it wasn't blue like all the other Blurrs, but I guess it is IDW accurate. I wouldn't mind one more take on 86 Blurr with the face fixed and a targetmaster port for vehicle mode (it winds up on his nosecone, which can be swapped looking at this version). And, of course, his partner Haywire.

Damn you, HasTak.. This figure looks awesome. Now with that said, the one and only fix I could see them doing which wasn't done is detaching the fist from the side front hoods as the folded hoods hinders from wrist articulation but that's about it.

Well Chef, you got me sold on this one. I just got back from a long collecting hiatus and decided I needed a Blurr in my collection. I do wish the figure had some tiny wheels like Titans Returns, but this is probably my favorite style (headsculpt and color scheme) of Blurr

Great review Chef, I agree with the 10/10 I just bought this guy they’re only just turning up here in Oz at our local K Mart. Picked this up off the trolly before being placed on the shelf fixtures! I really like this rendition of Blurr the detail on the front nose cone and the fo wheels make for it to be a much better looking alt mode! I love this head sculpt brilliant!! I would of only bought this and passed on the SS 86 version had I known.
