Transformers Reactivate's Gameplay Looks Promising! what's going on you guys this is your boy RBG aka the random black gamer bringing you some new updates on Transformers reactivate and if you guys know anything about this game then you know it's been a gift and a curse it's been the driving force on why I was motivated to make more videos and it's been the thing that actually pushed me away from making KZbin videos yes this is the key source of why I got burnt out but now that I'm back it seems like things are really starting to pick up especially when it comes to this game because we have been getting news out of the Wu some of which correlates to the release date for this game because that's been a very secretive aspect that's been held on to by the developers and Hasbro we haven't heard anything from the official sources but that doesn't necessarily stop us from digging and finding out the information for ourselves which based on this leaked road map from Hasbro will be coming in the following year yeah that's right guys after waiting for what seems like an eternity this game will be dropping in 2025 and I feel like this is the right time to strike and I also feel like this is going to be time well spent because this game has seen its fair share of hands on it and now it's landed in the hands of Splash damage who has taken it upon himself to give it a graphical facelift among other things don't get me wrong it's still going to be built off of the bones that was established by other groups such as certain Affinity but for the most part we're going to be seeing a lot of differences compared to the leak images that we saw in the past speaking of images we finally got more gameplay like actual gameplay as opposed to leaks or we get a chance to see a particular character in motion that being Bumblebee

Looks cool I only hope for one thing....... Grimlock, Swoop, Sludge, Snarl, Slug(Slag). The Dinobots from FOC were awesome If they show up in this game I'll scream like a baby. There are three design types they should have and no AOE isn't one of them because that movie was okay but it shamed the poor Dinobots. The designs should make them look like G1/ POP, FOC, or the IDW comic series Maximum Dinobots. Please let this game have the Dinobots

Also let’s bring up another error the acquisition of Dark Energon Megatron manufactured dark energon and infused his troops with it in Wfc and in FOC when Soundwave revived Megatron he and I quote said “dark energon infusion” while reviving him. And in tfp they act like that’s the first time they saw dark energon. The aligned continuity is a mess. Despite it being a mess tho I need to read those Dinobot comics.

The feel of that build is also very similar to some hero shooters wich concerns me actually since a lot of the relatively recent hero shooters have failed with marvels hero shooter being one somewhat liked example with if i recall correctly one other liked one and the rest falling flat including overwatch 2 being the most famous flop.... Honestly i'd rather have a feel leaning to wfc/foc then what that older build had...

I would like to see the character creator to be next level. Mixing and matching parts for different looks. Spec out to be ground mode or flight mode depending on the mission or role you wish to play in the team. Say we want to spec out to be a Tank, than the parts we put on would make us look like a Semi truck or some big industrial equipment. If we want to spec out as a ranged DPS than the parts we spec with end up making us look like a fighter jet of some type. If they dont capatalize on what makes Transformer so special, which is their ability to transform, than this just becomes like any other looter shooter.

Hopefully they come out wit a Transformers game where you can customize your own bot...make them an autbot, decepticon, predicon, dinobot, min cons(combine to small, average or larger Transformers, not combiners) ect. Allowing players to choose and customize the weaponry to which transformation you want & added parts/mods that make your Transformer ready for any fight. To give everyone something different than playing as the original characters we already know.

Honestly after the ROTDS disaster, I was hoping they’d get smart and give us a game where we could customize our own transformer again and go into an open world with an online co-op campaign on earth. With how games are these days the TF franchise could really benefit from a gears of war hell divers 2 combination in a way, with live events, but full on customization aspects from FOC multiplayer mode where we could choose between each class and customize each individual parts from the head to the legs of our own transformers. Go out into the open world and have full on conflicts with friends or even alone, and have specific missions for a specific class, like for instance if your a scout you go on scouting missions, if your a leader class you’d go on a more battle heavy swarmer missions, if your a tank you’d go on more full on assault missions, if your a plane you’d go on more sky/space missions like a moon mission or something cool like that. I really want the customization from FOC back, that was a huge reason behind why that game was so awesome to me.

I feel like if they took the semi open world, boss fight style, and the access to side quests and mini missions and updated it, that would be one of the most perfect transformers games. The robot designs, the character movement, and the postures have a WFC / FOC feel to it, visually speaking. However, the vehicle modes, the humans, and the lighting style has a very Bayverse look to it……from what I’m seeing. This concerns me, as I don’t want a “Bayverse” influence in any shape or form. I certainly don’t want the story-telling or directing to be “Bayverse”-like. (Hollywood-like). Future reveals of this game will tell us what me may expect. Until then, I watch with both interest and concern.

I think the lack of pvp will hurt this games longevity. Don’t see how they can make it work either with each character having different abilities apparently. Would have been better if the stuck to classes and added pvp imo. Live service games also seem to be on the downturn now. Hope it turns out well at least as if this fails it may be another decade before we get another aaa transformers game.

I’m not convinced it’s even coming out, I hope it is but until I see some real evidence, I’m going to stick with the theory the game was shelved in Dec 2023, Hasbro won’t say anything until the toyline is complete. They are releasing the same 4 characters we got in double packs last year, all major warning signs the game is scrapped as Hasbro are attempting to maximise revenue before they kill the toyline. I seriously hope I’m wrong, but I have a feeling it’s been scrapped.
