Ok, Can I just say that I hate the NAILS! They ran away and all of a sudden think they have the right to decide how the planet is run? And Metal Hawk? He is offical the worst of them all, he demands that they leave and then acts like yes not the one in charge, and later even asks Bumblebee 'what have you done to our world?' In a shocked/angry tone. Oh nothing much other STOPPING MEGATRON FROM CONQUERING THE ENTRIE GLAXAY AND ENSURING THAT ANY SORT OF ORGANIC RACE WAS SAVE! WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING METAL HAWK, WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING!!!! At least Sky-Bite had a good reason to quit, but Metal Hawk and his friends with their 'we are better than you because we did not fight' can go get eaten by Unicorn! Speaking of which what would have happened if Megatron had won? What if Nova Prime had taken command of the autobots and then tried to destroy cyberon? Then after optimus and megatron stop D-Void and megatron woke up first what would have NAILS done then? I'll tell what would have happened Metal Hawk would have demanded them to go 'because we have majority' and Megatron would have ripped his head off and killed them all. Metal Hawk only the reason the nails were allowed to stay was because of Optimus Prime and the one bot who could have set everything right, stopped what was coming and prepared cybertorn the likes of the combiner wars, dark cyberton and Unicorn got exiled because you and faction, and being a NAIL is a faction explicitly since you all are united in a singer purpose, getting rid of the bots who save cybertron! Seriously out of all the factions in the IDW run, the NAILS are the stupidest and most a annoying faction of them! Even the humans in the books were better than them, and we are total dicks in the IDW universe!

@@li32150 Couldn't agree more, Metalhawk was a complete idiot. Just like Dai Atlas he scorned Optimus and the autobots but offered no viable solution to anything, then goes to trust Starscream because of some shady prophecy.

Even though I've read everything else after this comic, I truly consider this the end to the IDW Series, in the aftermath autobots led by Rodimus, Magnus, and Drift discover the knights, learning from them how to live with different transformers and Megatron is discovered but defeated afterward, no Unicron, no Megatron becoming an autobot (sorry I never really enjoyed it just the worst idea.) no Dark Cybertron, or GI Joe crap. This is it, the rest is up to them, plus this kind of really gave Prime a better ending for his story.

I feel like Oprimus Prime shouldn't be blamed for the war. Yes the Autobots were responsible because of Sentinel Prime, but Optimus has to take the blame for it.

I just finished the video, and wow this really hits hard for me. Optimus giving bumblebee and rodimus the halves of the matrix, leaving cybertron for the better, and changing his name back to Orion Pax really gives the death of Optimus Prime a new meaning.

I never did like Metalhawk in this series, him AND Slide. Every time they made an appearance it just made reading the issue a chore. At least Metalhawk does while doing SOME "good", of course he never did miss an opportunity to lecture other characters. But, Slide...oh, man, Slide was even worse!!! All she did was bitch and moan and complain without doing anything to try and make things better. Even during the battle for existence she cared about voicing her grievances on her soapbox while other characters died. She was one of the few characters I hoped would die in each issue, and it ticked me off that she was essentially rewarded for nothing in the epilogue.

Can't help but feel bad for this bot. He does his best but shit keeps hitting the fan. The moral of the story is that the war was never supposed to have a winner because it breaks the balance of power and reinforces the negative traits of the Autobots, at worst leading back to the conditions of pre-war Cybertron where Functionists were about to take power had Megatron not started a revolution.

That's not quite the voice i pictured for Optimus... Doesn't quite have the Primean gravitas. Some would say "Y U No Cullen Voice?" but personally i've always imagined something like Neil Kaplan's RID Optimus for the IDW version. Gary was overdone with the Unicron Trilogy, David's OP voice is too young and modern Peter just sounds old & tired. Then there's the new guy... Foushee? His voice doesn't quite fit. Not yet anyway...

I find it funny that Team StarForce had the Old Old Cybertronian word be pronounced "duh-sigh-ner". When if you transliterate the Cyberglyphics used in the original comic, it transliterates to "wdcinr". Okay, I see why they picked "duh-sigh-ner" now.
