Quintessa has exposed Prime to Dark Energon, it corrupts Transformers and can even reanimate the dead. Prime is not himself, he obviously goes on a rampage which is why humans ask Megatron for help in dealing with him.

Davidoff Plays What would be cool is if, in the event that Dark Energon were utilized in this movie, Quintessa's secret weapon is corrupting that part of Cybertron into a Unicron-esque being. Not exactly Unicron, but something that takes inspiration from the Chaos Bringer. The chances of it happening are pretty low, though. Based on what we've seen, Cybertron can't shift into something like Primus or Unicron, not to mention the CGI budget would be fucking insane. Man... one could only wish.

Well maybe just maybe this giant Cybertron looking planet is the movie's take on Unicron instead, just by keywords like "to protect earth from what was destined to come" or "you are all that stand in its way" while holding a picture of the giant planet, and the Unicron looking bots getting their heads sliced have gotten me to keep my fingers cross

Bumblebee got wrecked. He does get his hits in...but prime tried to split him in half.. quintessa seems to corrupt prime into fulfilling quintessas mission of bring cybertron back. And I think to prove prime is ready he fights the infernicons to prove his loyalty but then when prime gets beat up by the knights I think Optimus stands trial to be judged
