Transformers Titans Return Titan Masters Look Back (Stop Motion)

Recently we counted down my top 10 Titans Return figures, and while the Titan Masters didn't quite make the list, that doesn't mean I didn't like them. Let's take a few minutes to look back at these cool little guys from an amazing toy line.

that hasbro kept using the system even after the line ended is a testament of how good they where. sadly i would have liked to see one combiner with a titan master in the power of the primes toyline, but it never hapened.

Yeah! What he said! I wish I’d pick up more of these little jerks when they were at retail, but they were hard to find around here most of the time.

I had a bit of beef with those, as they are quite representative of a transformer-starvation period. I wasn't old enough to order stuff online on my own and my mother didn't want to do that. And all that was avaliable in stores near where I lived only had that. Now I can appreciate them better, but I can't help but grit my teeth at their sight

Hardhead and especially Triggerhappy were so good. I also like Windblade. Arcee was nice to have Daniel (if you call him Daniel..) and finally have a HM Arcee, but she wasn't the greatest. Even though not officially Titan Master (probably designed for the line and pushed back until later) Apeface was such a disappointment. The G1 toy was so cool, in part because the little robot got to pilot the space ship with a real cockpit. Oh well, at least Cogman was really cool. I know, also not technically a Titans Return toy but basically was. It would have been cool for more bases and such for the little robots to hang out in. I wasn't shelling out a gajillion dollars for Ft. max or Skorponok. Anyway, such a good idea and they had great quality in that line.

Super happy that my favorites Nightbeat and Loudmouth (Siren) were featured here. I think my favorite combination was Brainstorm and Night Beat, with the translucent orange cockpit in the chest I had a lt of fun putting Nightbeat in "Head Mode" in there like Krang from TMNT to have the two work together to solve mysteries as a sort of Robotic Watson and Holmes. My other big Titan Return Headmaster memory was getting the diecast Rodimus as part of the Chaos on Velocitron Toys R Us exclusive and then feeling compelled to find the Hot Rod Deluxe to properly complete the pairing. Thanks for dredging up these memories!

Something has to be said about the fact that I bought more of these than actual figures in the line.😂😂😂 Still consider it a crime that we didn’t get a legit Nightbeat out of TT tho😡😡😡

The extra thing Titan Masters came with made them similar to Action Masters. And speak not of the evil of blind bagged toys.

My favorites are the Savage/Noble repaint of Fangry from the Takara Megatron, Repugnus, and Shuffler. I wish I was collecting at this time, this would have been great to have. Or at least Apeface so that I could eventually use Apeface and Spasma as a gun for Apeface and Spasma to wield.

Can't agree more. The Titan masters were such a fun little line. I have my Titans Return Hangry on my desk as we speak. They're such great little fidget toys. Also, you should be wary. Our favorite spy is getting more covert. ;)

I actually managed to get a hold of the3 main decepticon head masters during there retro themed packaging reissues. I got apeface and snapdragon during earthrise and got skorpinok for Christmas.
