the arm guns like it or not, are just part of the characters initial G1 Design. Has it in the animation, the G1 toy, and the titans return toy. I agree it's kinda silly from toy design perspective just due to how it kinda locks up articulation at times, but meh.

It's one of those great G1 inconsistencies. Some times they are on shoulders, sometimes they are on forearms.

I could be wrong but it seemed like they just sat low hanging off his shoulders in Rebirth. They were consistently on his shoulders in every other fiction, the Marvel G1 character sheet in particular.

I too got this as a gift, and I have to say I love him. The hollowness is a bummer, as are the arms, but overall I think he's pretty great for the retail price. Triggerhappy was always a cool design and I think this toy does him justice, even if making him a Headmaster was a bit of a weird choice. Still, fun figure, and I'll probably be getting Misfire and Slugslinger to go with him. I will say though, if Maketoys did an MP scale Triggerhappy in their Remastered line then that would be awesome.

I stand corrected on the "paint chippage" comment I left on Facebook. As far as repaints go, the Triggerhappy mold is being remolded into both Misfire and Slugslinger in waves 5 and 6 respectively. Are you maybe wanting to get Topspin and Twintwist? I think those might be the best molds of the line so far. Very little hollow bits, still no ankle tilts or much paint, however.

Watching you fiddle with Hasbro is a treat. If they put the arm cannon hinge on the bottom of the forearm, the guns could have still flipped on and off the hands, but been out of the way of the wings. This has got to be the best figure from the whole line. The only real issue I have with it is the slight limitation on neck, arm, and ankle articulation. I can't say I fully disagree you with the paint, but it does have a nice breakup of color. I mostly would have just preferred a bit of color at the base of the arm guns to match the blue of the rest, and have the barrels dipped in silver paint(or paint the blue and make the plastic a nice silver/grey plastic.

Best do a review of that dog! The head/neck issue seems to be throughout my Sentinel Prime is the same. the head looks like it should face forward with the larger face if you look at the connector but it's sloppy. I have no idea why they cheaped out on the headmasters face. Hardhead's Duros had paint on him in wave 1

Actually, all of the Titan Master deluxe figure have some great transformations, Topspin in particular is quite unique. Other than the hollowness, Hasbro has been doing a good job as of late. As a Classics guy...my collection is filling out just fine :)

On the topic that I believe you addressed in another video about masterpiece transformers that we haven't seen. You spoke on what you'd like to see; and what came to my mind were Laser Rods from Gen 2. I haven't seen hide nor hair of that quartet since I had them when I was just a snot nosed brat. It would be nice to get those in masterpiece form, I mean considering we're getting a Laser Prime from Fans Hobby. What are your thoughts on Gen 2's Laser Rods?

There were four; two autobots, two decepticons, and their alts were styled after hot rods in the 90's. I remember they had decent articulation for the time, and a light up gimmick in their hands for their weapons. Just thought their alts were cool, and would like to see more of that.

Mr. Skullface, I have this figure along with most of the Titans Return deluxes, I give them to my 8 year old daughter to play with. It's really funny to see her Armada Megatron having adventures with Twilight Sparkle (you have daughters so you know how that goes). One other question, how much longer until Tiger Trax gets cleaned up, or has that passed? Thanks for what you do and keep up the good work! (Evil spirits, ha! Didn't work on my eldest daughter!)

Should get at least a couple, if not a few TR figures. Their not that bad, from Hasbro (let alone the loose joints), not bad figures, honestly. I have quite a few, actually. lol They are pretty good, that is if you're going cheap & 3rd Party figures seem too expensive, then this is a pretty good inexpensive way to go, really. Should at least look at Hasbro's TR Trypticon, when you get the chance.
