When promo shots were released I figured that's what I would do too, but when I got him I found myself leaving the accessories on him for the sake of EVEN MORE GUNS!

I've always had a soft spot for Triggerhappy, even though the only thing I remember him doing is being owned by Ravage and gawking at Startscream and Shockwave still being alive in one of the US comics. Glad to see his toy has turned out so well.

I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but the little divots for the pins on sides of his upper arms/shoulders are 5mm compatible, even though they don't really look it. It's my preferred place to put his guns for Maximum Dakka mode. I also like to connect his guns so that one of the barrels is slightly off-set and have him hold it that way, giving it a little bit more similarity to Blowpipe's old gun mode.

This toy is almost perfect . I only wish it had an extra joint in the elbow so we could get some Armada Demolisher like shoulder gun and fist gun pointing action going on. At a time when the MP line is leaving me completely cold it's great that we have such a strong retail mainline happening - now bring on Slugslinger and Misfire.

You can put the chair-gun inbetween the the arms, all you have to do is raise the arms up (just like you did with the fan-mode) and rotate the lower arms and put the chair-gun inbetween the arms (with the arm-mounted guns flipped out of course)

actually, he can pull a Movie 1 Megatron. You move the shoulders to the top of the head, so the tubes are horizontal. Rotate the elbows, and peg in the guns, and tab them together. The two guns should be in front of his face

I was so happy when I got my Triggerhappy figure and agree he is definitely the crown jewel in the deluxe class (as of wave 3). As for your mystery figure, if it's any class, I'm guessing Sky Shadow. If it's specifically deluxe, I'm guessing Topspin. I have neither of these figures yet, but they look the most promising of wave 4.

you can totally hold the combined gun in robot mode between his cannon-hands, you just need to swing the arms up at the shoulder so it looks like his he's shrugging really hard.

I love this figure so much, even his flaws don't bother me, like the wings and guns on his arms getting in the way of each other really doesn't bother me. This guy's design is just great.

But he can! The shoulder have an extra hinge and rotating the forearms 90 degrees allows for sextuple (or octuple if you count the wing guns) cannon mode!

I enjoy this figure so much I arranged to buy a second one tomorrow. I’ve had the Japanese one since it’s release and its fantastic but the excessive part of me wants the yellow eyes, two extra guns, and smooth unblemished chest of the Hasbro release. I just want an excuse for re-buying him and owning 2!

There have been very few Transformers figures over the years that checked so many boxes in my head for what I want in a Transformers figure that I would consider them to be nearly perfect. The only ones I can think off the top of my head would be Generations Lugnut, (who is probably one of my favorite Transformers I've ever gotten) the Generations Brainstorm and Springer from a couple years back, and maybe Animated Swoop as well, but Triggerhappy is easily a figure that I would add to that list without a second thought. His starfighter mode is easily one of the best looking alt modes I've seen on a Deluxe in years, the fact that he manages to still have a waste swivel despite his somewhat complex transformation compared to other Titans Return Deluxes is a welcome treat, and nearly everything about his robot mode; from the amazing shade of blue they used on him, the fantastic paint work on his body and Titan Master's head mode, the overall silhouette, andthat you can even flip the giant double blasters from his alt mode down to give him giant wrist mounted death cannons, (this alone would have sold me on the figure even if everything else about him wasn't already great) is just great. The only things about him which I'm not too fond of about Triggerhappy is the lack of wrist swivels (which isn't really that big a deal all things considered) and how seeing how great his starfighter all mode is really makes me retroactively wish that they held off on releasing the Titans Return version of Brainstorm long enough that they could have used a retooled version of this mold instead if the retooled version of Blurr's mold that they actually went with.

I have both Triggerhappies and I would say the blue on the G1 is darker, closer to a navy, where the TR is richer and more vibrant. Reminds me of the blue used on some recent Thundercrackers. Also, when you asked to guess the wave 4 figure who topped this guy my thought was "I bet it's the guy." The guy. I am tired.

weirdwolf and mind wipe are both pretty high on my list not sure if they beat trigger happy our not. all 3 have that weird thing where the gun doesn't fit in their hands well with a titan master sitting in it, and that does up set me. especially when figures like skull cruncher and scourge do it so well by incorporating both guns.

Funny Story: My copy of Triggerhappys came with two copies of his left gun so it is now physically impossible for me to make the gun turret/seat for the Titan Master. This bugs me way more than it should.

supergeno128ds Hot Rod has a fairly standard transformation, but there's enough about it that's slightly different from most car-formers to justify the purchase if you like the character. Twinferno is a nightmare, though. I'd avoid him if possible

supergeno128ds He's a really good figure. The only flaws i could find is that he lacks paint apps on the arms and on the Titanmaster, and that the shoulders are so tall that you can't see his spoiler. Other than that he's a fantastic figure and a massive improvement over the Classics figure.
