I really need another trailer for this movie! I agree with you on hoping this isn’t a character that gets minimal screen time. Something about that first trailer gave the feeling that this film is going to be heavily centered around the robots. I want Scourge’s presence to be known and felt throughout the film. Also I like the theory that this will blend into the Bayverse… that that universe had a bleak ending and Unicron erupted from the planet and reformatted Prime after the autobots were destroyed and made him into Scourge we see here.. and has now crossed the multiverse to do the same to this one. I get it, I’m getting sick of multiverse stuff too… but this could be cool if done right.

People keep comparing scourge to Optimus prime. The problem is, they’re using the Tf1 to Tf3 look. That can’t be the case, it would have to be TLK Optimus.

This is definitely one of those ones that Hasbro hit right out of the ballpark! 😄 He just looks SO cool! I especially love that they actually painted the chains and featured all the different emblems on his grill. I’ll most likely end up picking this guy up, because he is too cool for me not to get. 😄

I think they intentionally made scourge look like optimus because of the 2001 RID Show where there was Scourge which was made by a protoform scanning a oil tanker truck WITH that version of Optimus and In that show there was **Predacons** so it would be perfect for them to have a villain that was made by predacons. To appear in a Beast wars movie

If scourge does turn out to be bayverse prime, here's my theory In the bayverse timeline, unicron rises, and the autobots lose. Unicron takes optimus' body and reformates him into scourge, and sends him across dimensions to make sure that no other autobots can stop unicron. In turn, the maximals (could have been from bayverse timeline, since tlk had concept art for some maximals), went to the same universe to warn the autobots of scourge and the terrorcons. It doesn't make too much sense, but it's the best I got

My bayverse theory is that instead of turning Megatron into Unicron's herald (perhaps Megatron was permanently killed off so he wasn't arround for Unicron to reformat), the Autobots face off and are defeated by Unicron. Optimus Prime and the remaining defeated Autobots are reformatted and corrupted into Scourge and the Terrorcons, tasked to search for the transwarp key of each universe they inhabit to locate and kill the Matrix holders of each respective universe as well as the one who poses the greatest threat to the corrupted Optimus Prime's multiversal mission: MEGATRON.

A lot of similarities to Megatron’s truck mode. They used up the Galvatron name already. Since Scourge serves Unicron, what if this is the bayverse version of Unicron giving Megatron a new body? Probably not but would be cool.

I'm going to be in the unpopular minority here. For the price, this figure is seriously lacking in design and quality. The ball at the neck is horrible, truck mode is great from the front but it looks like just a bunch of Junk at the back . I do like the use of amber plastic and the various transformer factions symbols stamped into his grill. But this is in no way a 60 dollar toy
