I just use Six Guns as his jetpack. The Siege Optimus has 2 holes on his back and neither is in the middle, meaning the jetpack is only on one side. Which really sucks. This optimus has one in the middle. Siege, tho, has 2 back holes for both of his weapons, but i gotta give it to this optimus, since he has holes in the trailer.

Honestly as someone who has always wanted a MP 10 Optimus this is fucken dope. And it comes with basically the same thing as MP 10 minus the little humans and small cart. Its fantastic fun to transform and fun to pose. Omg the articulation on this this is godly yea there are minor issues with the waist because of the tires on his ass that block him from moving much but honestly it's not that bad. My only actual complaint is the gray peg on his blast I don't know why but it irritates me so much I guess if it wasn't gray but black I wouldn't have an issue.

It's good, but the trailer in the Ultra Magnus and Movie Prime leader classes offer a lot more value for the same price point with trailers that are full blown transformers themselves. All this one does is open up. It isn't even big enough to house most other siege transformers or even have a roller. It's fine, but I wish they made the trailer larger and painted it better to offset the difference.

I concur completely about this new Earthrise Optimus Prime, he looks way amazing and very G1-esque! And the inclusion of the Matrix is a great bonus, there are a lot of Prime toys out there that look really nice and have great features, this one is certainly one of the best looking, it's a homerun from Hasbro, totally! Can't wait to see the next Megatron now, I don't know how different he will look from the Siege version, we'll see. Awesome review, Paul!

9 times out of 10, the bumblebee mold gets reused as a cliff jumper figure. Can definitely see the vice versa happening.

Ohhh...I don't know if it's totally certain, but I think that it's been speculated that you can fit a Micromaster in there. Not sure why the trailer is so tiny; a look at the G1, at MP04 (MP01 plus trailer), at MP10, or even at MP44 all show that this thing is too little). I'll still get him if I ever see him in stores around here...he's a great addition to an Optimus collection, and my original choice for a Classics sized Optimus - KuBianBao MP10V - just doesn't fit anymore as that's a REALLY big Voyager (just barely taller than Generations Springer, Generations Sandstorm, & Transformers Prime Shockwave), and Siege shrunk down the scale all around. Anyway, we need a G2 color repaint of this: darker red & blue (a la Takara MP10 or DotM Striker Optimus), black trailer with red stripe and "OPTIMUS" in silver capital letters. Still shocked Hasbro hasn't done that with the MP01 or MP10 molds by now.

My only knock is I hate that you don't unbox it from it's original package. You take time to describe the package, then describe the figure in (robot mode) in the package...then all of sudden you transform it (off camera) to vehicle mode just to transform it back to its robot mode from original package?? Im not hating, I just enjoy the show, Im just a new sub that would like to try an unbox it with the commentary....but all the videos are backwards.

I have this one. I will ding it one point for the poor location of the hitch pin for the trailer. A real truck can turn past 90 degrees, but this trailer jackknifes into the back of Optimus smoke stacks in truck form at about 30 degrees. The trailer hitch location needs to be further down the back of his legs so the trailer can turn 100 degrees. I should not have to 3D print an adapter so the trailer actually works as a trailer.

i am going to get my transformers collection up and running again, i have downloaded some awesome 3d file of a new rollar and its awesome, and a new axe, its from cults 3d, some files are free, and some are not, but it doesn't cost that much at all, and if you want to 3d print it, there are some 3d print sites where they will print it for you, shapeways and cloudcraft 3d, cloudcraft 3d is my recommandation to go to, because you get more options then shapeways

G1 roller will also fit in the trailer if you do not have the add-ons for this figure it's a little of a tight fit but it works and the trailer can still close completely

Good review. I was going to pass on this because I hated that little space behind the cab. However, now that I see it is a space for the gun to sit in I'm okay with it. I seen a bunch of reviews for this and yours is the only one that showed that the gun goes there. Another review had the gun in a completely different spot. Well I guess it can go different places but that empty space is the spot that was annoying me.
