Nice, may I suggest adding a plating effect material. If you look a real badge you should noise a coating be it chrome plating or paint. The build up of the coat adds a surface that is not flat and is thicker at the center of a face but not the edges. A scaled up noise material as a bump or displacement will provide this same effect.
