Agree! If they make a playlist, like Stephanie did - with all of her episodes in order, then it’s easier for people to hit play once and they just keep playing until we choose to stop. I would come home from work & hit play so I could listen as I made / ate dinner, cleaned up, etc. I’d also like all the positive comments & leave a comment to help increase watch time, add revenue & help the algorithms. This type of impressive building is normally called “un hôtel particulier”, in which the wealthy and influential families of a town or city would live, as described in many French classic novels. So much dedication and hard work have been put into it by Anna and her husband that they truly deserve to be able to keep it. All the best to them !

It really depends on where it is though. I can’t quite tell by watching the video, if it is in town or rather in the countryside (to me it looks more like they are somewhere in a village, but I might be completely wrong!). As you rightly say, it is important for a property to be set in an urban environment (among other specifications) to be called an hotel particulier...

They are more like the brownstones or town homes of NYC. It had even an elevator and my favorite a dumbwaiter! In Buenos Aires we call them Pettit Hotels.

I so agree! Ed has clearly given the planning of the restoration a great deal of careful thought (the media room!) and they have been gathering furniture and other decorative details for quite some time. Anna’s wee “moment” when they revealed they may have to sell made me tear up. She so loves this place. With all of the work they have to put in at the Chateau, I am amazed they have had the enormous amount of time to working on their own. They have already done so much work already. Let us just hope that they find a way to keep it!

The most notable element of this generation of Chateau owners is the incredibly hard work and sacrifice going into preserving these buildings. No entitlement here but a tenacious determination to carry on for future generations. An authentic appreciation for the work done before. Well done all! Oh what an absolute stunning mini chateau. Just love it. Seems small, but so much room. Ed is such a man with so much knowledge of Reno! He is so good and such good taste on architectural and interior design. That chateau hime will be such a treat and much needed fir their kids/family. Lovely house. Nice manageable size for a family home rather than a business. Nice to be in town, close to basic shops hopefully and the trains. The pineapple and parrot fabric on the bed is really nice. It would be great if you could get more for curtains.

Of all the Chateau on YT YOURS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ONE...like the owners are so normal and lovely its none of my business but please don't sell....once France is open fully you will receive many bookings. Then there's wine tastings for bachelor parties, more weddings. The Chateau seems big enough to cater more than one party at a time. Then you can have a masquerade ball, New Years party. Rent out to event company as an option for different venues then all the work won't be on you . Sorry I'm ranting but you've done so much work and everything is soo beautiful.
