Family Renovates CONTAINER into the Ultimate GOAT BARN for Daughter | Full Project Documentary

Family of 6 builds rehabs a used shipping container into our daughter's dream goat barn. 4 months of hard work condensed into just 2 1/2 hours for your viewing pleasure. The Legend Dairy Goat Barn was made possible by our supporters, and includes a fully renovated insulated and framed interior, modular kidding stalls, bulk feed storage, and a closed, climate controlled sanitary milking room. Phase 2 adds a built-in shade awning, 3,000 watt solar power system, mini-split AC, rainwater catchment, gray water sink, and multiple secure field fence paddocks.

You get so much done in every video it always blows me away. Nothing slow-moving here! Seeing everything in 1 video helped me connect the dots in my mind. Many years ago I used to live in a place where I'd drive by a goat farm leaving town or returning to town. I don't normally think of taking things that don't belong to me, but there was something about seeing those goats. I thought it was just me, but a young passenger in my car said something once as we drove by about the urge coming over her too. It isn't like either of us had a place where we could put a goat or a way to take care of it. It was completely illogical, but goats are pretty cute animals!

You might like to try adding rigid 4” gridded panels to your fencing. Easily available. My parents kept Saanen dairy goats in central TX for maybe 15 years or so. It was always a joy! My mother even went to Houston for a special class in cheesemaking. Later they used much of the milk to help rear orphaned calves. Best wishes for your goat operation! 😘
