Hey Everyone,
Today we are continuing right were we left off in the garage build. In our attempt to improve the place we started by installing windows and now they need to be finished. We also need to figure out the best way to insulate the ceiling. It is a never ending list of to-dos and changing more and more by the day.
Thank you for all the support on the garage build series! For all those waiting for car videos to return, I am hoping to have this wrapped up in the next couple weeks and then come back with some big car announcements😉
Thank you for watching, consider liking & subscribing for more.

Hunter makes DIY look easy. His training as an engineer is a blessing. I would have screwed up the drywall on 1 minute.😂

The list of to-dos never ends really! It's a blessing and a curse. I bought my first home in 2020. I've ripped out all the carpet, laid hardwood floors, refinished some old floors across the rest of my home worth salvaging, painted the whole house, addressed plumbing and remodeled the bathroom, added some newer doors, refinished the stairwell and railings, and the list continues. Sometimes it's discouraging to look at the massive amount of things I'd still like to complete, but looking back on what I've been able to accomplish fills me with gratitude. It's the same with cars and I know you resinate with this feeling. All of this to say just keep going and don't get discouraged. Your progress I've seen in just over the last year through a computer screen is awesome, and you genuinely seem like an awesome person. Loving the channel more and more as time goes on and find myself waiting for you to release the next video. P.S. you're surprisingly good at window installation lol

This is the first time I’ve ever viewed life on the wood to drywall spectrum. That cracked me up. Another great instalment. Soundtrack work is next level. Easily one of the top creators on KZbin.

Ok I just have to say, the first minute of this video I was hooked. I love the style you did this in.

Great work so far! One small tip, each end of your sheet should land on a stud. It looks like you missed this on the back wall of the garage. It’s going to make it very hard to tape/mud if there is no stud behind to support the sheet.

E30 318is owner. Love the content. Pro tip- use your speed square as a fence/guide when cutting with your circular saw. Massive time saver and also guarantees straight 90 and 45 degree cuts. All other angles with a little more difficulty. Keep up the good work.

Hey I was watching your e30 series as I was building my e30 and I realized that your driver and passenger seats are swapped. I love all your videos and I think the story is amazing. Also an aspiring mechanical engineer and it’s nice to see the way you work through your projects in a very professional manner.

In the "The Boxer" Paul Simon wrote, "After changes upon changes, we are more or less the same". So, maybe that will give you some insight.

Nice job 👍🏻 Funny to see so little screws used on drywall or gypsum. I core renovate our house and in Germany you generally have 20cm between screws. On ceilings 10cm. There are people who cheap out, but it's not worth it. I only used a few thousand screws for the maybe 300m² of gypsum I used. The top floor, which sits inside the roof, was stripped and new walls were put up. Naturally I used two gypsum boards on top of each other, overlapping of course, on either side of the framing making for 14,5cm thick walls with mineral wool insulation inside it. I often worked with gypsum and I don't particularly like it. Gas concrete blocks are nicer, but sometimes it's the most fitting solution to use drywall. It also adds to structural strength with the framing inside it.

You’re doing a great job so far. But since you said you’ll be doing more Dewey just invest in a drywall screw drill it’ll pay for itself after a few sheets in time. Speeds up the process.

Been enjoying this series. Thanks. Flashing tape on the bottom edge of the windows isn't necessarily a good idea as it can help trap any water in that gets behind the window. I wouldn't worry about it now that's it done. Just saying for the next time you do a window think about not sealing the bottom flange in. Cheers keep up the good work.
