As much as l love the olive green as a colour, the colour that you have right now is so beautiful and calming. Maybe for colour you can bring it in the room with furniture and art. Maybe olive green sofa with gold accents in lamps, gold leaf frames.

What a wonderful vlog episode!! With the gold leafing, it reveals such beautiful details in the previously white frame that couldn't be seen before. Bravo! Also, the lighting that Philip did turned out perfectly! As for the previous breakfast room's wall color, I find the current color perfection! It seems to capture the beautiful glowing quality of the outdoor light in Normandy and to bring that inside. I agree with the many comments that suggest using the olive green in your furnishings and/or art.

Anna initially I thought the new color would be a good choice but once you gilded the mirror I just loved how the existing color and the mirror complimented each other. The mirror is just beautiful. Perhaps incorporate the olive color in the room with fabrics , art and area rugs ? I’m sure what ever you decide it will be as lovely as the rest of your home. Philip you light up a room when you enter so no surprise you could light up the chateau….seriously it’s so nice. Loved the drone footage of the village twinkling in the distance.

I love the color you have right now, but I think the olive green would be lovely also. As a green fan myself I went from a light beige/mocha color in my family room, to a rich oak moss green. I really love the change, but I did find out after the fact that I needed different furniture, accents and a lot more light to truly make the room what saw in my imagination. The room can be quite dark in winter, but with the right lighting it becomes warm and inviting. You have beautiful taste so Im sure whatever color you choose will be lovely. Love your channel!

No to the green, which is your default colour. You have a tendency to choose colours with a colder, greyish tone. Having 1 room with a slightly, and it is only slightly, warmer tone is nice. Be careful not to make things too cold. You could offset your cooler palette with warm artworks but you don’t seem to be doing that either- maybe a work in progress? Or you don’t like the visual clutter or art? These large rooms need a fair bit of detail and warmth. Worth a thought.

The chateau at night is lovely; a beacon of welcome and calm. Good job, Phillip! Anna...your eye for color and style will bring you to the correct choices in decor for your salon. Several comments suggest color in your upholstered pieces, art, and possibly rugs. So many options for you! To note, in America we have a product called Rub 'n Buff in metal colors. I have detailed assorted frames and hardware in our home to create antiqued surfaces. It's quite easy to use, but perhaps not as lovely as your gold-guilded mirror. Blessings!
