That turn you did at the end there is called an Immelman maneuver. Its one of the most difficult maneuvers for powered aircraft, and it's considered suicidal to attempt in a glider.

kAN I think your glider may have had too many wings. The high lift to weight ratio can help for glide ratio at low speeds. However, the drag at high speed quickly eats up all the velocity you had from the car. In comparison, Kosmo only had a single wing with more regular parts on his glider, so he was able to keep up his speed for much longer.

According to my knowledge, Kozmo used long wing design and that helps to increase to lift to drag ratio, and Scrap man and Kan focused on the lift part mainly and so they had more drag. So they had lift but the drag was more and reduced the speed faster then Kozmos plane. So I hope this helps you understand.

Kosmo and scrap man both had powered tailfins.. which for one was against the rules set out where scrap man said no power cores on the planes.. and second off means they had much better gliding than your plane which didn’t use any powered tailfins

i’m not sure but i don’t think powered tail fins count as power cores. even if they do, he probably meant no powered engines by saying that.

I agree with you. they did TECHNICHLLY cheat but they also didn't, as powerd tail fins dont use power cores, but another part of that rule is, NO POWERED PARTS. scrapman said No powered parts. yet he still used them

Because scrapman always posts multiplayer first and takes most of the views, well that's my theory after following for a while now. His genuine content is really good and informative for the game so overall he should have more views.

kAN ist no uploading on a daily basis. Uploading videos on a daily basis really helps to push your video.

@@thefriendlypine7034 as Gary Fay said scrapman majority of the time uploads before everyone else, this means everyone already sees this video, which would explain why there is only 30k views. You could have a million subscribers, but if you don’t post regularly and similar content as someone who has already posted, then barely a quarter of those million would actually watch your video.

the basics of aeronautical engineering "wingspan" the distance of a wing from the main body on a str8 line. If your wingspan is short no matter how many layers of wings you put your lift is not going to be enough. Cosmo used the wings correctly by putting them next to each other so he had enough lift to clear the gap since it was a glider. Shorter wingspan provides more maneuvrability (fighter jets) but needs more airspeed to glide without thrust, longer wingspan provides more lift (commercial planes) can glide in lower speeds + that it needs less thrust to operate=fuel efficiency. Gliders have a really light body with huge wings for this exact purpose to generate as much lift as possible with no thrust.

I'm fairly sure trailmakers doesn't have that level of physic's realism. The second half of what you said it does have but the layers of wings does work in game despite what you say would happen in real life which honestly I'm not sold on since biplanes existed.

@@henrymccoy2306 biplanes had their first set of wings over the top of the hull, and the other below the bottom of the hull, which created a significant distance between them for the air to circulate in different speeds and create lift on both wings.

​@@gianniskalogeropoulos8150 I seriously doubt that trailmakers would have some kind of pseudo CFD function to test whether the air flow of each wing would affect each other so I still don't think stacking wings so closely would have any negative affect like what you'd see in real life. As for the the affect of wingspan on lift I can't really speak on that since I've never tested it in game. I don't think it would be too hard to implement, since they already have calculations for the affect of mass on the vehicles, so I guess it makes sense they'd go that extra distance. I do admit though that I've never been bothered to go through a whole scientific process to test all this so everything I'm saying is experience/logic.

So, if you feel the need to add another series, one with a LOT more combat challenges... Maybe try From the depths? it's on steam... Focuses mostly on ships and flyers... I think you would have a lot of fun with it! Be warned though, it is EXTRODANARILY complicated and has a darwinian approach to learning the game, kill you until you learn.

You guys should do Armored vehicle challenge, hear me out. Two teams of 2 both teams make two fighter planes and a Armored vehicle with an anti-air gunon it. The Armored vehicle has to get from point A to point B and th e Fighter planes has to try to stop them. Sound like it could be fun.
