Built a Train Racing Challenge and Made My Friends Battle!

Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we all built train challenges for each other! Mine is a combination between racing, puzzle-solving, and battling! Each person has to get their train to the finish by solving puzzles to clear the obstacles. The catch is your opponent can shut off your engine with their spud gun when they fall behind!

Hey ScrapMan, I am the creator of the mod you were using in this video and I just wanted to let you know that if you ever have that rendering issue in the future, you can press the 8 key to toggle on a mode that brings your character around with your freecam to render things better. Just know that it can fling your character around with a lot of force if you move the camera very quickly and can slam your character through blocks or under the map, so it is good to just flick on and off to move your player closer to the camera every now and then when needed. I may release an update sometime in the future that greatly improves this mod, let me know of any feedback you may have, thanks! Also great video and fun idea!

simple solution is to make your character teleport to your location every few seconds, so it doesn't need to be done manually.

@@whimbur Pressing 8 essentially does that, it applies forces to your character to keep it as close to your free cam as possible (this was added before the update came out that added teleporting players). It would just be best to be toggled quickly so the others don't just see his character flying around and he doesn't run the risk of clipping into things. I will definitely be changing over to teleports or something similar and more stable if I ever update this mode again though.

Hey ScrapMan, I have a video suggestion for Trailmakers: The Barely a Plane challenge, In it you have to race planes but you can only use small wings and small tailfins and only mini thrusters for propulsion. only seat you can use is the operator, go-kart and motorcycle seat.

Day 82 of asking scrapman to do a multiplayer monday in survival mode where everyone starts at the crashed ship with a craftbot set up in the mechanic station, and everyone has 30 minutes to build a vehicle from scratch, no glitches, thrusters allowed, after which everyone meets up and races along some road :)

I think I have an interesting idea for Multiplayer Monday: having an arena with land and water, trees, rocks, you name it. Everyone creates an amphibious vehicle that can or cannot transform, and all vehicles have a bomb spawner on them. The winner of each round has to increase engine and/or thruster speed (the creation might have both or just one), therefore making it harder for them, and the first person to reach a designated level on engine or thruster wins (I don't know what the beginning speed should be).

Scrapman, your next multiplayer monday challenge should be a sort of extraction challenge. Each person would have a box or something that someone else would need to steal with a ground-based vehicle. The only catch would be that the vehicles have spud guns, and also some bombs inside of them so if someone catches you stealing their box then they can shoot you and bring it back.

MM idea: 'clay'(explosive) pigeon shooting, each of you make a explosive launching device with a set amount of explosives lets say 10 and the other two try to hit as many as possible, every barrel equals one point the one with the most points wins

Scrap man I have some advice that I think will improve the trains and therefore the comedy and the content if you can implement it, it's to do with the on buttons for the trains :) Considering they're trains and they only go in one direction, I feel like it's way too OP to just stand at the back of the train and spam shoot the on button to keep the train moving. If you can you should put 2 buttons on the train to turn the train on, one in the front and one in the back, BUT you have to run and turn the back button on first, THEN run to the front of the train and turn on the front button, only then will the train start moving again. This way you can't just stand at the back of the train and spam shoot the button, you are actually forced to go back to the front to turn on the train, then run to the back again if your train stops again. This will make for allot more panic running, also more comfortable time for the lagging opponent to figure things out 😛Hope this helps 🙂and keep up the amazing content 😁
