One thing I want to add that in addition to sanitizing what you pick up please *make sure* you also treat all furniture for roaches and bed bugs before you begin to reconstruct your furniture. The last thing you would ever want is to bring any of that into your home.

Good job. Love the cane and knobs. So retro. Back in the old days, we called the piece a "chifforobe". In great demand for baby's room. Painted in pastel colors, it held baby"s hanging clothes and foldables in the drawers. Personally would have painted insides to complete the job, keeping the striking wallpaper!

You can get a jig saw, sander, and drill pretty cheap from Walmart. Hyper tough brand. It’s not as good as some others but it works and is way cheaper.

If you paint the draw sides it’ll stick when opening/closing and rub/chip away. She’s likely matching the inside to the draws and that’s why she left it x

@@sammcarroll6748 the drawers have plenty of space around them and they're on rollers so it wouldn't affect the paint at all. I think they just didn't want to put in the extra time and effort. Mia probably has a pretty strict schedule so didn't have loads of extra time to do another 4 coats of paint inside the drawers and cupboard part. Personally I would've painted the inside because it just doesn't look finished in my opinion.

I’d love for you to do a video where you get another piece, show it to us through Instagram and also show us the materials you have plus provide us with what you were thinking of doing with it and then allowing your followers to incorporate their own ideas into it. To take it a step further you could do a poll of the most popular ideas and whatever wins is what you’ll do with the furniture.
