How did you cram so much content into less than 11 minutes, without making it feel rushed? It's amazing. Also, the tips and tricks you gave are also amazing!

Great video! I have been playing for 15 years now and still I feel I need to learn and improve. What you did on day 3 it's a great approach that not many coaches and trainers follow: to stop giving instructions in order to make the beginner follow her/his own learning path. Congrats and keep posting great content like this. Cheers from Seville, Spain!

This is really helpful and cute at the same time. When a pro teaches us it looks effortless and easy but it's not. Seeing her struggle helps me because I too make those mistakes. Love the commentary at the end!

Good progress! And pretty fun video. I loved your matchday comments, ie. 9:55 😂Btw, has she tried playing on the left side? Some people (ie. me) find that side way more natural and easier. Also, maybe with a softer racked she might be able to defend better. Cheers!
@EverythingPadel Жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. Appreciate it. I feel like the right is easier for her because the forehand swing is natural cross court, and the side wall/corner defense is on her forehand side. She would also have to cover more on the left , so something to progress too soon

Not impressed, it's the key selling point of this game, it is easy to learn. The learning curb is very steep. People get a lot of action. Doing it. The downside for players is that it is very expensiv. Even if you are a member of a club you still need to pay for an hour court time, coach not included. As a business case padel is very lucrative that way. That is why it gets pushed so hard, people are making big profits of it. If they would put that same efford in promoting tennis it would have much of the same effect. I don't know why this entered my feed I am obviously not a padel fan.

Well, having wrong grip too many times and makes her not hitting more effective, bad part is she may develop bad habits too. Using wrist motion while hitting harder balls coming with a wrong grip and holding a 330-370gr racket at various pace of the game and shots ...you are prone to injuries, tennis elbow which many coaches have (from wrong technique they use and teach over time). While she was ''copying'' you while you were next to her and than hitting was constantly in a wrong grip and you did Not say it often enough to make her aware, as her attention distribution overall (grip, prep and shots) was not good, and that makes players not to progress faster. Half way of the video still on the wrong grip and she said was so ''focused'' on the technique .....what technique I would say ...if you aren't even aware 99% of the time that holding the racket wrongly(because your ready position as a good start is not in place) rather than to be a helpful weapon in your hands, will make her progress very slow ...also did hit backand with forhand grip (again you said nothing, at least in this video). It seem so common of coaches in the UK to gratify clients/people in tennis and padel (as ''encouragement'') unrealistically (as people like to hear ''yeah yeah, well done, etc'') and not mentioning or having creative drills to adjust/correct details that are so important to contribute overall to all aspects of a good player....well, it is a nasty greedy ''tactic'' to keep clients paying for longer than they should, sadly. Many mediocre coaches are around and in the biz ( as padel and tennis coaching is a nasty biz, dedicated coahes are more and more rare diamonds) for money 99% of the time dedicated to their own pockets only and to create false fame/profiles, sadly. (I don't like to give names, but the list is way too long, anyway, I just hope cleints will open their eyes and and open their pockets for valuable coaching rather). NO offence BUT is TRUE and SAD.
