It seems like you are hitting the serve above the waist. Many opponents would call your serve a fault?

My padel partner really struggles to accept that im getting fridged (he takes it as if he is the weaker player and cant seem to accept it, but i have played considerably more than him), i am also a leftie playing on right side. How can i approach him about taking steps to help stop the fridge? Or should i just dont push it anymore and start snatching the balls from his cross?

This is great. However, as a 3.8 player I can do a lot of this .... except the feet tip. I'm 64. Forget it. I simply can't bend my knees or move my feet fast enough. End result. 4 out of five shots I make I am slightly out of position and too far behind the ball

Tennis has much more skills than Padel. That‘s why Tennis remains more attractive when you play by yourself and watch it in TV (my opinion). Everybody can be good in Padel while Tennis has quality levels which is for me much more exciting.

No hate, just trying to get better at padel myself, is there a reason why your movement is slower and not as explosive as other padel players?

Going through some of your old videos because they are great! I hated people serving me fast, what I did instead of turning my back is holding my hand up (signaling I'm not ready). Another tip for this, if you see they have a rushing mentality. Do as you said, and take time to lower that hand. Gets on some people nerves. You can also do the same in your serve, bounce the ball more times than necessary if they seem impatient. Both tips are also great when you are out of breath or need time to calm your mind down.

Durability argument is rubbish. 1st years I was using 15 GBP racket from decathlon and it was unbreakable. Then I bought 100 GBP Joma and it already had some cracks after hitting the cage:)

That is bad luck and very rare, overall the more expensie rackets are more durable

Love the ‘confidence’ that you seems to have ENORMOUS amounts of 😂. Club level, same in tennis, you think you lose because you are playing badly but in reality your opponents don’t ‘allow’ you to play well. Good channel though.

I have a coach/trainer that calls out bad or non sense shot directly. And I just really like it. I would have get bored or hated it if I always got a pad on the shoulder so to speak. Anyway this way you are always on your toes and want to do any exercise correct. I know it's not the type of coach for everyone. But for anyone that wants to improve it's a must, imo.

Who is doing the editing? Are both cameras filmed in Raw? You should check your camera settings or try sync footage in première.

@EverythingPadel maybe a shutterspeed or iso setting? Camera one is a lot darker...
@EverythingPadel8 күн бұрын
@HuubvanVeenhuyzen Yeh. I agree. Im still very inexperienced with it. It’s the ISO setting
@HuubvanVeenhuyzen8 күн бұрын
@@EverythingPadel What camera do you use on the left? Also, ISO just compensates for poor lighting, or poor light conditions. An indoor padel space should have enough lighting to have a fairly low ISO. If you aren't filming full auto everything, try using a shutterspeed of around f5.6 or f8, since you don't want depth of field, but also don't want to go to high (to f10/f20) since that requires a really high shutterspeed.

I'm absolutely loving Stan's smash technique! Not sure if its exactly as it should be, but it sure looks cool :D
@nexxxuno6 күн бұрын
The technique is good, the decision making is not, 3/4 of his smashes should be viboras. With this playstyle he is just calling the opponents to the net, but I guess he was just having fun and not playing for real.

Seems like squash is a better background for this IMO. For me it looks like not so great tennis players or those past their prime are discovering some of the joys of squash and incorporated them onto a tennis court.

Isn't taking a step before serve considered walking? ie 3:20 you do bounce step hit step The rule: "A player may not walk, run or jump while serving. Small foot movements which do not affect the adopted service position will be accepted."
