I'm kinda at a loss for words to express just how incredible and important you are. This video was SO inspiring, informative and overall just important. I don't think I've ever seen someone talking about fitness in such a truly healthy and beautiful way, with the emphasis on mental health and freedom of choice. Also I think talking about how you do it for you, its personal and it doesn't have to be this big scary thing is super helpful. I'm so so proud of you, which might sound weird coming from a stranger, but I am. Prioritizing health is hard, so thank you for taking care of yourself and sharing with us. You're such a beautiful person and so important. Every video I watch of yours I'm always in awe of how kind, precious and funny you are, and this video was no different. Thank you so so much for sharing this with us. I've found it really helpful! I think after years of being unwell and having an unhealthy relationship with food, this video has encouraged me and informed me so much I really think I will make that investment in my health. Thank you again, you beautiful angel! I hope you're both well

I am very proud of you Anna! I started to change my physical and metal condition a couple of years ago and then I injured my ankle, since then it has been very difficult for me to continue training because I am not physically capable, that's why this video nourished me so much! I appreciate it very much, you are very right that together it becomes easier! I am from the Cristinini community and let you know that we love your classes and the way you teach, in addition to how adorable you are, the effort to do it in Spanish is appreciated! Love you so much Anna 💙 I'm so proud of you! (sorry for the google translator 😥)

I’m just recovering from my chronic migraines (about 5 months of being bedridden), so I can relate with not being able to take normal things like going to the bathroom on your own for granted 😅 i’m really impressed by your journey, it takes a lot of self control and motivation to keep a habit of doing exercise’s or going to a gym when you are in pain or come out of that period; that’s something I struggle with. I’m really happy for you, your are doing awesome ❤️👍🏼

I'm so glad you posted this! I'm turning 31 this year and I really need to start taking care of my body properly. I gained about 20 pounds during the pandemic and I've been pretty displeased with how I'm looking and feeling. I will stop putting it off! I'm happy for you and glad your body was able to recover

This video made me cry. It's so inspirational and hits so close to home. I had a bad knee injury in 2019, which stopped me from playing football for a long while which was my way of keeping fit. I was told by the "knee specialist" I would never play again, this, being diagnosed with narcolepsy and 2020 had me gaining about 20kg and it has knocked my confidence so much. I'm now getting back into the gym with my friends but I wouldn't say I was taking it seriously but this video has changed my outlook. I will definitely be taking this more seriously and doing it for myself because I deserve it. Thank you so much Anna. You are incredible and if there is any resources you would recommend other than those mentioned, particularly on nutrition, I would appreciate it so much.

I'm so happy for your progress in your knees recovery and work out. I hope this video can be a really inspiration for everyone who wants a change in their life. Muchas gracias, Anna 🤗 P.S.: I hope I never upset UnitAnna monkaS

I really relate to the struggles of knee injuries. I tore my ACL about 3 months ago. I went from working out 3-5 days a week, being the best shape I’ve been in since I was a young competitive gymnast, to not being able to clean my apartment, make my own dinner, or work. I played roller derby and I was absolutely in love with it. My goals in roller derby were more significant to me to almost any other goals I had. Now, I can’t go back to derby or any other extreme sport I enjoy until at least 9 months after surgery (about 8 months from now). I still go to gym when my knee is doing well to do upper body and ab workouts, but most of the time, I can’t walk the extra steps to go to the gym because it will negatively impact my recovery. It’s too sad to be involved with my team because I can’t stop thinking about what I am missing out on. It’s hard to be without the hours of practice a week that would make my brain feel quiet for once. Most people really don’t understand how hard it is to lose your sport, your independence, and your mobility, even if it’s not forever. It’s hard to stay positive but I’m trying to tap into hobbies I used to do before I got so into exercise. Painting, crocheting, reading, playing instruments. Nothing gives me peace like derby or snowboarding or rock climbing, but I don’t want to just survive the next year, I want to enjoy it at least a little. If anyone has actually taken the time to read all of this, if you relate, I’d love to hear from you, and if you don’t, look into preventative measures for injuries and take them seriously and try not to take your body for granted. And thank you Anna for this video!

When I was a bit younger I hurt my ankle and was told I'd be fine in a week, however it took over 3 months for me to start getting back to normal life. Seeing your story is very similar to mine, and it's nice to see that even when injuries come and go we can get through it! Also I'm very glad you had the wrist crutches, those underarm ones killed my armpits 🤣

I think the one thing people undermine is the amount of motivation you get at the start when you go with someone, especially if your mental health is preventing you from taking care of your body. Some days they push you to go the gym. Some days you push them.

Another thing I forgot to mention: you shouldn't fast nor restrict calories intake at all. Eat until you are satiated. As long as you eat animal based you can eat until the point of satiation everyday without any danger of gaining weight at all: protein and fat don't make you fat! Carbs do. Don't ever starve. Specially if you are working out (you can harm yourself doing this; besides, if anything women should have quite a lot of fat in their bodies, this is normal, what is not normal is the extreme fitness ideal of 5% body fat, etc.). And lastly, cardio is not good in any way at all. In fact, it ages you. If you don't believe me, you can check Jay Vincent for information.

@yankee_tango
@yankee_tango Жыл бұрын
Yes they do it is all about how they grind them to your particular prescription. Go and see an eye doctor and have an exam done, if you need glasses they will get you set up correctly. Also if you are on a computer and staring at a screen for hours on end make sure you have them coated for blue blocking. It helps the eyes relax and you wont have eye strain as much. I have astigmatism as well, so I am speaking from experience on they glasses helping with it.

I guess the healthiest diet is a plant based diet wo any animal products. 15:39 also, it’s not because you’ve eaten vegetarian that you got low protein. There’s very very much protein in plants. You just need to eat the right things. Obviously we don’t need cows milk any more than we need dogs milk or cats milk or dolphins milk. Cows milk has everything a calf needs and we’re not a cow nor a baby. Every nutrient in eggs and honey and meat and fish is also found in plants and a plant based diet can reduce the risk of diseases caused by the things in red meat and produced meat. Also it’s obvious that it’s better for the environment if you adept a plant based diet and no animals have to go to a slaughterhouse or in case or honey get their wings clipped. Obviously animals produce the things they produce for themselves. Chickens also would eat their own eggs so they get the nutrients back they’ve lost from laying it in the first place. So being vegan is all about the animals but it’s also one of the healthiest diets.

@@Sgene17 "You're perfect as you are, but you can also workout and be better" That's a contradiction. Truth is you are NOT perfect the way you are, and by working out you get closer to perfection (which you'll never reach, as no one is perfect). This is the honest thing to say. Acknowledging the fact you can do better does not equate to self hatred and she knows that, but she is trying to avoid the angry mob from coming at her by saying things that make no sense.
