But when I tried it actually worked just fine as the clamp part fits right onto the metal part, so im not sure if your mount is incompatible or something. I play fortnite and I have played valorant before, it all depends if your laptop is a gaming laptop or not. In some gaming laptops, you can get a small fps increase when you plugin a monitor but it doesn't apply to all
