the reason why some are happy with 100 fps to 300, is because not everyone plays fortnite which requires a lot of work through the pc , i play minecraft with shaders and get a stable 200 with these specs , which i'm pretty happy with i wouldn't say i'm ungrateful and that i NEED to upgrade it, i just don't see why it's a must to have 500+ fps in every game, especially if you just went from a school laptop to a pc

Lowkey you can build a $200 pc even $150 and upgrade it some more as you gather money overtime that’s the best part about building your own pc even if it’s a pc that’s just $50 or a work pc I would recommend getting a pc case first and if anyone have any work computers around your neighborhood or anyone in your family I would grab one & take the parts out of it
